Heffalump Movie - What's Your Review??

I liked it and my kids loved it. We went yesterday. It is a short movie though only 70 minutes or so.

Our local paper absolutely panned it, one star out of four. Despite the bad review, we went on Friday (ds4,dd8,ds10) and we all really liked it. It is better, IMHO, than the other recent Pooh gang movies. Lumpy, the little Heffalump, is absolutely adorable. I love his babyish English accent. Go see it!

Saw it yesterday.

It is short but funny. My 3 1/2 year old daughter laughted a bunch and now calls me Rooty Tooty because of the name game Roo & Lumpy play. It was a fun family day.

My husband took our 3 year old to see it this morning and both liked it. The shortness was good fo ru - my son probably couldn't have sat in the theatre much longer.

My 4DD wants to see it so we're going to have her birthday party at the theater. She'll be 5 on 2/22.

I'm glad to hear it's not too long because we'll have a dozen or so kids to keep entertained.

It was better than "Piglet's Big Movie" that's for sure. We enjoyed it. My 2 DDs laughed a lot.

It was very short though.

We all really enjoyed it. DS1, DD5,myself and my DH. Really cute! And yes, better than Piglet's Big Movie. Almost embarassed to admit it, but I even cried at the sweet parts (but I cry at EVERYTHING) ;)

I took my DD4 and DS4 last Friday- they loved it! They laughted the whole time. I thought it was very sweet too. I agree, I think it is better than the piglet movie from last year.

I am not a Pooh fan and thought it was very cute. Lumpy is definitely adorable! I ended up buying a stuffed Lumpy at the Disney Store afterwards! :)

Went with DH and DD3 this weekend and loved it. I've never seen DD sit still that long before! She loved it and as soon as it was over was begging to "see it again!" She loved Lumpy...need to find a stuffed "Lumpster" somewhere!
DH and I both got tears in our eyes everytime Roo talked about "getting bigger and growing up." There's something about Disney, isn't there, that kind of makes you euphoric (sp) and weepy. On the way out of the theatre I told my DH to get used to it....we'll be teary-eyed throughout our whole Disney trip!
