Several years ago, I bought some tank tops at Kohl's that I have loved, but which are now far past their prime. They are heavy enough to wear on their own (even the white!) without additional layers underneath during the summer, and are fitted just enough to flatter but not too tight. They have a slight scoop neck that is also flattering but doesn't reveal any of the girls :lmao: And the length is perfect, hitting right at my hipbone.

I can't find anything even resembling them anymore at Kohls. And everything else I am finding at other stores is so lightweight, that you HAVE to layer two or more of them together if you aren't wearing a shirt or sweater over them.

Does anyone know of a good place to buy a nice heavier weight tank? Of course, a great price would make me the happiest, but at this point I'll take anything short of highway robbery. I've looked online at LLBean and LandsEnd, but reviews are saying the Lands End ones are actually not very good quality these days (too thin). The LLBean ones sound closer to what I am looking for, but look just a bit less fitted than I'd like...

I buy my tank tops at Eddie Bauer. They are heavyweight without being too thick for layering, but yet can be worn on their own. They also are fitted - not too tight, but not boxy either.
