We have booked our villa for July - do we need to have the pool heated att his time of year? We have usually gone to France and Italy and used unheated pools but last year we found the water cool.
We will also be there July but we aren't intending on paying the extra for heating the pool. From what I have read it is so hot and humid that I don't think it will be a problem.
Home owners recomend heating the pool Oct. thru May. I do not feel you will need it and most home owners will turn it on for you if you decide it is needed.
In June you should have no probs I was out there is July and the heat was so hot and humid you wouldn't need it although June isn't as hot as July. It is generally not recommended. But when you get out there and think you need it you can pay for it then and you shoudl be able to get it depending on your rental company.
Its not recommended to have the pool heated in the summer as the chemicals react with the heat of the sun and can turn the pool cloudy .You should be ok in July.
As an American who lived in Florida while growing up, I can safely assure you that you do not want to heat the pool in July. You will actually be desperately hoping that it is cool so it will provide a relief from the sometimes sweltering heat and humidity. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
