Hello,

We are flying out of Heathrow Terminal 4 for the first time on the 12th August and we need an airport hotel for that night.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a hotel close to Terminal 4 as Londons idea of close to Terminal 4 probably isn't my idea of close, especially when we now have a morning flight, will have 3 suitcases and we are unfamiliar with the airport layout.

I've read some trip advisor reviews of shuttle waits of 40 mins and I know I would end up being stressed out!

Thanks
Andrea :o)

Depending on how much you want to pay, but the Hilton at Heathrow is connected to T4 by a walkway (its a long walkway mind you!!)..Other then that look at the Premier Inns/Travel lodge..there are various area's that are close to the South side of the airport where T4 is..maybe search in Area's like Staines, Ashford (middx one), Hounslow, Bedfont, Feltham. Bedfont and Feltham are the nearest! :) There are loads of hotels down the A4/Bath Road but that is on the Northside of the Airport but its really not that far.:)

When I searched it said no rooms are available for 2 adults and one child for the 11th August. I think they have doubles but can't accommodate an extra child.

I would much prefer a walkway even if it is a bit of a walk away because I wouldn't have to rely on a shuttle.

I will have a look in the areas you have suggested.

Thanks

Hiya

We are flying this August for the first time from Heathrow and having always flown from Manchester in the past we have been spoilt by staying in the Radisson which is located within the Terminal.

Therefore having weighted up all the pros and cons I feel its worth paying the extra for being located actually within the terminal and have gone for the Hilton in Terminal 4.

We are a family of 6 and had to ring reservations to ensure we had a guaranteed interconnecting double room with an extra "rollaway bed" but it really wasnt a problem to them and we received 50% off the second room.

Just to let you know if you haven't stayed at this hotel before, its not within the terminal as such, its on the southern perimiter road next to the T4 and the walk way to the airport is quite a long one..but it is as close as you can get to the terminal. It might be quicker to actually get the shuttle to the terminal then walk as its a long way to drag suitcases. :)
