Sir Paul McCartney's bitter divorce battle with Heather Mills ended dramatically yesterday with a drenching and a diatribe.

Miss Mills threw water over her former husband's lawyer Fiona Shackleton then laughingly announced that she had been "baptised in court."

This was followed by an astonishing 12-minute rant on the court steps.

The outburst came after Miss Mills was awarded only a fifth of the £ 125million she had been seeking.

Boo flippin Hoo. She only gets this many million and she wanted that many million. Reminds me of Loni Anderson going public about how Burt Reynolds was only giving her $20,000 (or $40,000??) a month...looking for sympathy from America because he expected her to raise a child on that amount!

These women are so spoiled. Someone should give them a spanking and send them to their room.

Uh ... last time I checked, it wasn't Paul who poured water on the attorney's head. Heather acted the role of child esp. in that situation ... not Paul.

ITA w/Moon -- Paul's been the quiet one throughout this whole thing. It's Mills that had to gain attention whether it be her appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" to blabbing about her relationship w/Paul.

I can't help but wonder what her motive was behind her stint on Dancing w/the Stars? Was it to get attention and put a positive spin on herself? Was it to gain some popularity or endear herself to the viewers? Was it to get sympathy or to show that she is brave despite her handicap? She didn't do it just to do it ... you know she had to have a motive. My guess as to her motive ... attention from media and trying to put herself in a "good light".

Seemingly she is trying to get the injunction preventing her talking about her divorce, she wants to spil the beans about her marriage and how she saved Paul after his wife died! I believe she was intending to get her sister on interviews to dish the dirt but if the injunction isn't lifted and she does that she is in contempt of court because her agreement was that she wouldn't nor would she let associates talk about the divorce or marriage and the judge said if either broke it the consequences would be dire!

I hate her. I can't believe Paul couldn't see this coming. I had my suspicions from day 1 about her. She looks like a cold hearted -----! I think she had this planned from the start. She never once looked to be in love with him, just his millions.

I wondered the same exact thing. I don't think it helped her as much as she thought it would. No one I know was impressed at all. Didn't she lose the leg during one dance. I would not doubt if that was staged, to get sympathy.
