Heated Pools

I was wondering if the pools are heated on April 3-7??? We will be staying at the Pop century

I actually swam one year in March. It was cold getting out but the water was nice as long as you were submerged.

They try to "adjust" for the weather. But stormalong bay was really like bath water one year. Not refreshing, but still fun.

It's been in the low to mid 80's for the past few days, and it's not likely it will be below the mid 70's during your trip. I don't think you need to worry about the pools being cold.

Of course the tornado warnings a couple days ago are someting to worry about...

Stormalong Bay actually has chillers. I don't think that they use them nearly enough. I recall one very hot summer and the water way too warm. I mentioned it to a life guard who said that the pool managers never listen to them and asked me please to complain about the heat of the pool.

I agree about the hot water in the summer. I found this to be true at CBR as well. I went swimming in July 2002 in the quiet pool and I got in and jumped out because the water was so warm. I was looking to be refreshed not take a warm bath. I went back to my room and drew a cold a shower! I did complain at the front desk when I checked out. I could tell the difference when I went to TL, now that is refreshing water. It was not too cold or too hot, just right! I stayed in the lazy river for over an hour it was so good. Everybody complain when the water is too hot in the summer so they will adjust it!!!!
