We are new members and just stayed at VWL for the first time.
It was wonderful and we loved the pools, but neither seemed particularly warm, even in the heat of June.
Do they have heaters for the winter months? Do any of the other resort's pools.
I am making reservations for January this week and am trying to decide where to stay. We are thinking about Beach Club and VWL again. The key factors are whether or not SAB is going to be warm enough for use, and whether VWL will still be decorated in the second week of Jan. Any feedback on those choices would be appreciated.

All wdw & DVC pools are heated, i hear the Poly 's pool is the hottest since they do not have hot tubs, or maybe there are more kids that swim at the Poly :rotfl:

We visited VWL, BCV and SSR last December (left on Jan 1), and all the pools were heated, including the quiet pools. It was quite chilly out too and we swam mostly at night in the quiet pools.

SAB will keep really short hours in January and so will the parks so I would consider that also.

We were at OKW the week of January 22nd and the pool was very warm. The air outside however, was a bit chilly. The good and bad: The bad- the water on the stairs for the new slide was very COLD :cold: and since it was chilly, I practically ran up the stairs. The GOOD - landing in the nice warm pool!! :cloud9:

To answer the question: Pool warm/ outside air chilly

All the Disney pools are heated, there is an exception, there is one pool at the Swan/Dolphin that is not heated. We were there in January and my DD jumped in expecting it to be heated. Did she get out fast!! :cold:
