And you liked it? What about an actual stay there? It's quite beautiful, and believe it or not, it's a very relaxing. Willow looked so very cute in her evening gown. Sorry the "meal" wasn't so grand, but at least Willow got to see the characters. I've heard mixed reviews on the dinner there, so kinda of glad we didn't make ressies for June.

It really is beautiful. I did not expect to like it as much as I did. It is a lovely atmosphere - would love to spend more time there!
They are definitely funny! We have always missed them in the parks, so it was fun to get the chance to interact with them - albeit very briefly.
It was a pretty funny little meet-and-greet.The Pocahontas pics are adorable! I'm fairly certain that Pocahontas is into nature and such and wouldn't be afraid of a few ant bites.We've been 50/50 with our Pocahontas experiences.
We always love them, of course; but every time we saw them this trip (which was a lot), they were in rare form.
The AK heat this year didn't feel any worse than the other parks for us - which was a change. I think we felt like we'd come to do what we wanted and couldn't quite muster up the energy to go out to meet Rafiki. We were really just ready to get on that ship, I think!
The food really was dreadful.
But I'm glad we gave it a try. At least it got me into the GF for the first time! It's hard to imagine us actually getting there, isn't it????I'm on pins and needles to hear if you enjoyed your trip to DTD! If you ever actually made it.....

Okay, so we know that Willow will make a beautiful bride.I don't blame her for leaving the veal behind, it sure was too hot for it.
She really likes to dress the part!!!It was definitely an amusing dining experience. I'm glad we were on the DxDDP; I didn't think about how much I was paying for that slop.And the character interaction in the photos looks so fun. Sorry they were so rushed and sorry about the chef who was a bit stunned by the word gluten.
Next time, we will leverage out SCs better and use tons of them for frozen drinks and such. That was a big mistake on my part.22 snack credits left?I wonder what all you got at DTD.

The food was awful, but it was still fun to do - Willow enjoyed meeting Charming and everyone else, and it was fun to see the step family in action.Too bad your last character meal had to be disappointing. We have never done a meal at GF. Guessing that isn't a bad thing.

Not long until we board the ship at this point. We did not encounter them thankfully. And I'll venture to say that, if they were in the vicinity, they were ONLY interested in Pocahontas because no one else was noticing them.In Pocahontas' defense ( not that she should break characterno matter how hard I tried every time I went outside with the dogs or the horse I ended up with bites you don't even feel them until too late ...SO glad you did not encounter them

I think you had the same server I did in Sept It was so bad Anastasia ( I think ) went over to him and got him to come back to my table I did have a blast with the characters, food not the best not the worse, ( or should that be worst ? I always get that confused ) probably a " one and done" dinner experience for me

I will let you know!!!! Maybe! I had a much easier time imagining her texting or Instagramming than BEING Pocahontas. It was really amusing. Relaxing on vacation is a VERY GOOD THING!!!
I can't believe the trip is so close! I hope Willow is surprised too. I really think I will be able to throw her off the track by having a little "surprise movie night" with her BFF along with birthday cake and everything on Saturday night.

Oh, how cute that Charlotte is starting to get into the princess dress-up! It's so much fun. Willow used to wear princess dresses a lot and just about everywhere when she was littler. She doesn't wear them much anymore except at WDW, DLR and DCL and then sometimes to play. These times go by so fast.
It truly was the worst food we had all trip. But it is fun to meet those characters. Next time, I'll make more of an effort to find the step family in MK.
I was definitely a DDP novice. Next time, I will make sure that we are getting lots of yummy frozen drinks with this SCs throughout the trip.

We wanted to get back to the resort - we werent grumpy or anything (for a change!) but just ready to be out of there. Unfortunately, this was the one time we didnt have good transportation luck. We waited endlessly for a bus. I think we actually ended up getting a cab back to the BWI.
You really need to check out the food there too.

We had to do something with them! The food was pretty nasty, but we had a fun time - how could we not, it was a character meal!Sorry your dining experience at 1900 PF wasn't better. I suppose the bright side is that Lady Tremaine wasn't a thug! I love how they've perfected the signatures. Well done. Willow was adorable in her little white gown.
The signature are just amazing, aren't they?We will absolutely be ordering the pommes frites. I was actually thinking that we might just order the gumbo, the pommes frites and a salad to share. What do you think???
They boxed the cupcakes up really well, so they survived nicely. Of course, that was probably largely because they were so dense and hard .

We will definitely return to DTD. And I will absolutely make sure we eat at WPE one day! I'm sure all I have to do in there is mention you and Tom, and we'll be treated like royalty!!!Sorry DTD was so packed, but you should give that place a second chance, esp. since you found Goofy's and WPE is right across the street.
I think it won't be long until our tree sports nothing but Disney ornaments.Love the Christmas ornament tradition! How neat. And your loot at Goofy's is awesome.
