I wanted to post a quick thank you to everyone who responded to my earlier thread regarding my daughter's hearing loss. It was very informative and appreciated. :) She will definitely have a hearing aid before our next trip, so knowing how to accommodate her needs is really helpful.

Apparently we're in for a bigger roller coaster than originally anticipated, so I'll be eagerly following future posts on this board. Although the first doctor was sure her hearing loss wasn't progressive, the hearing specialist has informed us that it likely will progress, possibly to a profound loss. And it's possible that it could affect both ears eventually. So it will be even more important for us to understand captioning options, show interpretation, and accessible rooms, depending on how things go.

Thanks again for all of your help. I look forward to chatting with you on the DIS in the future.
