Is there anything extra done for any hearing impaired people at sit down meals? I have a client going that will have 2 parents who are hearing impaired and I wasn't sure if they have anything at the meals (they plan to go to Chef Mickey's and 'Ohana dinner for sure). TIA!

Not that I have ever heard - other than possibly the guest writing their order down for the CM to read, pointing at their choice on the menu or writing any questions, with answers written by the CM.

THere may be someone who knows more, but that is all I have heard or.

I do know that the characters are, in general, pretty good with people with any sort of disability.

I know several characters who sign in Disneyland (I know, not relevant, but still pretty cool). In fact, my sister was dissed by a country bear in ASL. My sister kinda backed off (she is so not a character person) when the bear wanted a hug, and the bear signed "fine, whatever" before walking to another guest. It was hilarious!

If they plan to go to either Hoop Dee Doo or the Luau interpreters can be set up with a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Otherwise there is nothing done for table service meals. Deaf people are quite adept at ordering at restaurants really. They can always use pencil and paper to communicate or can use their text messaging to write the order for the wait staff.
