How very sad. I really hope they find the people who are responsible and hold them accountable. I don't believe we should leave, that will just show them that they can terrorize us.

I pray nightly for those over there, I don't know how the families back here in the states cope.

And Always Quiet...I have the same feelings sometimes...but then I realize if we bomb the whole country we become what they are..(the terrorists I mean)

Now they are saying it is unclear as to whether he is alive or not. What an emotional roller coaster for his family and loved ones, along with his fellow soldiers.

I completely agree with you Dan - but there is also scum in our own forces as well

When our guys do these things they get punished and lose their military careers. Over there they are heroes.
I agree with alot of previous posts. We need to either get serious and have our troops completely supported over there and kick some butt, which we could do if we were less pc. Or we need to say, ok order restored we're out of here. What you do with it is up to you.
I worry about any marines over there now. They are going to show no mercy if they capture anyone. Every Iraqi who has to deal with the Marines will pay the cost of this execution. Unfortunately if they show excess force or are not completely neutral in their handling of prisoners they will be punished.
