Heard of 192 Express LLC?

Hi..

We are thinking of renting a scooter for my handicap mother from 192 Express LLC rental company. We were wondering if anyone has rented from them or heard anything about them. Thanks

I have done some minor research. Their web site does not give an address. It says they are in Celebration. I did a "whois" search and it says the web site has been in existence for almost four years. However, the address for the web site is a residence which is not in Celebration.

Nobody has previously reported using this company. Further searching seems to show some sort of tie-in to a time share.

I have also never heard of this company and no one has reported using them.
I would suggest looking in post 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread and renting from one of the companies listed there. They got on the list by having consistent, long term positive recommendations from DIS posters.

They are a small business with warehouse facilities in Celebration. Many of my friends have used them over the years on my recommendation and their service is outstanding. They only deliver and don't offer pickups at the unmanned warehouse. They only handle the smaller transportable scooters for people under 300 lbs.

I checked into Cheshire's "tie in to timeshare" and learned that 192 Express organizes and sponsors small outside Straw Markets at vacation resorts for the advertising to potential renters.

They are good people.

I would still advise to rent from one of the companies listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread in post 2.
Those are companies that we have a LOT of positive feedback about.

And, I am going to close this thread since we had only one person offer any feedback since August when this thread was opened.
