first off I wrote cause since they changed the site I wasnt getting any bonus emails. They said maybe they were going to my bulk folder---what is the bulk folder and how do I get into it?


now for the good news---I asked if they were getting webbies back and they said they were in about 3-4 weeks---something about then they were putting up redempations partners page!!!

I was happy to hear that--

now lets hope it happens!!!

I hope it's 3 weeks as I hit 7000 points last week and am ready to cash out for our Sept trip but now have to wait. FRUSTRATING!

Did the email specifically state webbies would be back or was it the generic one they keep sending? I have sent 2 asking for specific info on webbies with no specific response. Crossing fingers they add them back.

Im almost to payout and I always get webbies. Im too cheap to get the plastic card so either I use it to put down on our room or get $DD (if I get the "right" CM. since its run by childrens place the CM sure arent the same but thats another story.

a pre paid credit card I thinks it has the mastercard symbol on it.

after cashing out at mypoints you set up an account at webcrtificates and the amount you cashed out for at MP goes to the webbie account.

You can then request a plastic credit card that you can use anywhere master card is used (now I sound like a commerical )

there is a one time fee of $6.95 but since Im to cheap to buy the card what I do is if I have ressies I just call and have them put the account on the card to pay down the hotel bill. This works for any type of phone order since there is 16 digit # and expiration date.

The second option takes a little more work but I print out the page from webcertificates and take that to TDS and have the CM put through the # manually and I buy $DD sometimes the CM put it through with no problems others insit on having the plastic card in that case I just try again at another time.

Basically....a webbie (WebCertificate) is like a pre-paid Mastercard and can be used where Mastercard is accepted. MyPoints e-mails you the WebCertificate with instructions on how to activate it. Once you input your information, you have access to a 16 digit number and expiration date that can basically be used as a Mastercard.

Alot of people use it over the phone to pay part of their reservation to Disney. You can also request an actual card for $6.95. The card is then basically a prepaid Mastercard and can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted. I usually use mine for my reservation...that way I don't have to worry about carrying an extra card around. Between my WebCertificates on MyPoints and Memolink and my Disney Rewards card from my Disney Visa, I can usually pay just about our entire hotel bill.

Dznypal...thanks for the update. Glad MyPoints is getting the webbies back. I have 9700 points waiting to be "cashed in".
