Heard About "Wine Tasting Around the World"/Anyone Done This?? Info PLEASE !!

Is it true you can purchase some sort of ticket for Wine Around the World???
And then sample wines from each country...
Where do you purchase this ticket??
Anyone have details on this ???

Do not know of any "ticket" you can buy, but several of the countries have wine flights you can purchase. You just pay at each location. We know of the wine flights in Italy & Germany that are in the shops, In France there is a booth set up across from Chef's De France that serves, and in Japan there is a Sake bar (2oz pour) in the back portion of the shop there. Those are the ones we have done in the past and really enjoyed them.

We recommend the Rosa Regal (ask for the chocolate that goes with it, i think it is $1 extra) in Italy, it's one of our favorites next to the German flights.

Never heard of anything like that, though we did 'drink around the world' on our own and then again at the F&WF.

Maybe it's a special event during F&WF? We went in Oct for it but chose to not do any ticketed items so it might be one then. A couple of countries had beer tastings where you bought a ticket but they were just native to that country.
