I was curious if there are any quick service places where you can get just plain chicken? I train for powerlifting and just need to make sure Im still getting some decent lean protein while im there.

Plaza Inn. You can buy chicken by the piece rather than the meal. Price depends on what piece.

It's fried chicken so you'd have to remove the skin.

I wish fired chicken would work because my daily diet would be much more enjoyable haha. I need just plain grilled chicken. If no place in the parks have that, are there any grocery places the deliver to the VGC?

I don't know if you can order it's alone or if it's cost effective, but a couple of the kids meals have a plain chicken breast (I think it might have been steamed or baked) as the protein. There is one at the French Market, but the portion size is small.

I don’t know if the price would be worth it - but there is a grilled chicken sandwich (with fries or apples) at Red Rose Tavern (need to order plain). Smokejumpers in CA also has a grilled chicken sandwich that you could ordering plain.

I know you said plain but if some seasoning is ok there is a Citrus Fire-Grilled chicken platter at Rancho del Zocalo. There is also a grilled chicken sandwich at Red Rose Taverne (and probably grilled chicken sandwiches at other places too) that worst case you could just pull the meat out of if they won't give you just the chicken.

You can get grilled chicken in lots of places, but you will be paying a lot for the portions you will get. At Bengal BBQ, for example, $5 will get you about 2oz. There are also grilled chicken skewers at Paradise Garden Grill (sometimes) and at Craftsman Grill at GCH as well as on some kids menus (Smokejumpers) The grilled chicken at Rancho del Zocalo is great...its a half chicken with plenty of meat. French Market also has a grilled half chicken. You can get baked chicken legs (3) at Poultry palace in DCA (served with coleslaw).

I'd also suggest french market. Its 1/2 a broiled chicken with seasoning and mashed potatoes and green beans. you can double the green beans and ditch the potatoes. It's very good.

1 of the kids meal options at the Plaza Inn has grilled chicken. So you could get an adult chicken meal but just have them give you grilled chicken instead. It'll probably be grilled drumsticks, by the way.

There are chicken sandwiches and Salads at many locations. You could check on-line menu's.
The Golden Horseshoe has a fair grilled chicken chopped salad.
Carnation Cafe has a delicious Roasted Turkey Sandwich and a Vegan Burger (have not tried).

Re: the grilled/baked chicken for kids meals at Plaza Inn, they let you order the fried chicken by the piece, so it may be worth asking if you can order the kids chicken by the piece.

If you will be doing any TS meals, ask your server if the kitchen can prepare plain, grilled/roasted/broiled chicken for you. I've heard that this can be done at NR, although I haven't tried it. It may be an option at other TS locations, too. I know that BB can prepare the blackened fish plain, so they may be able to do this with chicken. Just ask!

If you go into the Disneyland app and search for “grilled chicken” it will list the restaurants that have it- some are in a kids meal, in a wrap or on a salad, etc, but it will give you an idea of where it’s served. If you are looking for only plain grilled chicken, bengal bbq May be your best bet.

It is a baked drumstick and is literally the smallest drumstick known to man. It is maybe 2 bites worth of meat.

They can do this in an adult sized portion for those of us with gluten allergies so I'm sure OP could get it as well.

What do you mean, an adult sized portion? Like, 2 or 3 drumsticks? Because those baked drumsticks are all super tiny.

I don't remember exactly what the makeup was, but it was basically the same amount of chicken as the fried chicken, but baked. I'm pretty sure there was at least one thigh in there. Enough food for a grown adult because this is an option for people with allergies.
