Howdy gang I am Michelle - married to my Hubs for 7.5 yrs, have a DD who is 22.5 and DS who is 19.5 and a cuddle bug kitty Hunny Girl.. We live in Maine which I like 3/4 of the year - I can really do without winter and snow.. I work in a large disability insurance co as a paper pusher and like it just fine - been doing this job for 13 years and know it inside and out (LOL see what I did there!) This month we are currently under contract for a new place to live - supposed to sign on 5/31! we have been working hard the past few years to accomplish this goal so that will be my main focus of the month - that said I am a stress eater big time, I will have to work hard to control that.. I am going to this as another maintaining month for me.. I will be more then glad to cheer you all on in your weight loss goals!!Just stumbled in the door and realized it is officially the 1st of May! So I'm going to post our first question of the day, collapse into bed, and sleep until noon.

QOTD - May 1st
We are going to start out the month with an easy one! If you haven't already, introduce yourself! What is your goal this month? Weight loss? Exercise accomplished? General sense of well being found? Let's talk about any and all of your goals! What to do you to be able to say "I did that" about 31 days from now? What is your plan to make those goals happen? Specifics welcome! How are you going to track your percentage of goal complete each week? Finally, what can we do to help you achieve your goals?
Bonus QOTD - What is your earliest Disney memory?
Bonus question - first time I remember anything Disney is watching " The Wonderful World of Disney" on sunday nights. My first trip was 1971 when I was just over 1 - my Dad was in the US Marines stationed in Paris Island SC and we went for a few day trip - do I remember it NO but that is the last time my dad went (I had plans for this Dec but the house is taking priority) my first trip I remember was when I was 12.5 I got to travel from Maine to Daytona with my Aunt and Uncle so I could be the babysitter for my cousins and my payment was a trip to the Magic Kingdom for a day.. This was tradition right till I was 17.5 and graduated from HS.. I will be taking my dad when Star Wars land is completed.. its our thing..
Thanks Maggie for hosting!!!
QOTD - May 2Good morning! Welcome to your first "Mood Monday!" Let's talk about JOY today.

Is joy one of your ruling emotions? Are there things you do or would like to do to make your life more joyful? How does joy factor into your diet and exercise routines? Are you a celebratory eater? How do you handle special events, holidays, and other joyful eating opportunities?
So as I explained JOY is faux name in my BFF's family and I think it's very fitting - I do see the glass half full, try to maintain a happy attitude and help others get there .. I am Libra so making things right / smooth / happy / fun seems to be really fitting.. Disney makes my life more joyful, I listen to the park music every day at work, I have a butt load of Disney Movies in my DVR , I belong to several Disney websites, I have a few Disney calendars, I have Disney clothing and I eat Mickey shaped chips a lot! Haaa.. I mostly just eat at Joyful events just like everyone else.. it might be the same amounts of what they have or less.. Hard to say because on any given day it's different..
Changing your lifestyle means changing your diet. And it often means trying new things. Broccoli pizza clearly wasn't for Riley (or me, but that is a different story).
What new foods have you tried on this journey? Anything that you thought you would never touch but turned out to love? New foods that Just Didn't Work?
I have discovered grilled Asparagus.. MMMM YUMMY!!! still don't really like spaghetti squash (or butternut either)
