What is the best place to eat at Disney on a low carb diet. Buffets are out. We don't have that much self control. ;)

Look at the menus, lots of choices at Disney- you can easily order food without breads, etc just about anywhere....

I actually prefer some of the buffets, since I can choose what I like easily... ( I don't eat a lot of carbs, etc)

Maybe a steak place like Le Cellier or seafood like Narcoossee's? Flying Fish is also supposed to be really good.

You may want to be a little more specific. Healthy? Low carb? Both? And price range?

I had an excellent meal at Narcoossee's last month that, with a swap of more veggies for the potatoes, would be low carb. But I don't think I can call butter-poached lobster tail healthy. . .o_O But it was some of the best lobster I've ever had!!!

i'm on a super carb-restricted diet myself. My plan is to ask for the protein (fish, meat) without sauce, which could contain a ton of carbs, especially sweet glazes. Then ask for grilled veggies or a salad in place of rice or potatoes. i'm also going to be packing a low fat, low calorie, low carb balsamic dressing with me. i think Disney is trying to be very sensitive to dietary restrictions. So you shouldn't have a problem getting what you want at nearly every restaurant.

I say SPLURGE on your Anniversary and treat yourself to less restrictions! Only cones around once a year!:lovestruc ENJOY and Happy Anniversary!:love1:
