We saw someone get tossed from Hagrid’s at the entrance to the last room (with the motorbike projections overhead). A woman got asked to put her mask on in the room with the arches in the wall (it was under her nose). She put it on, walked about 5 steps, and pulled it down again in full view of the TM. He radioed ahead and she was pulled out of line by the next TM. That was after over an hour wait.

Interesting to read. curious if she was ejected from park or just lost her place in the queue?

The announcement says you can be removed from the line. So I would guess just that and maybe she went on a list in case she caused additional issues.

Good. Regardless of anyones stance on masks, the rules are the rules and it's not that hard to follow. And to blatently disregard those rules the way she did was like a giant middle finger to the TM who told her to put it on right. I'm tired of people thinking they don't need to follow rules they disagree with and I'm glad to see people being held accountable for their actions. I'm sure the TM who pulled her out of line got an earful and I do feel bad for them.

100%. I loathe masks, but I'm going on my trip fully knowing that masks are required and will comply if they are still required when we go in April. I did it for a full week in Disney last November and we survived. If you aren't willing to do what you are asked, don't go.

Glad to hear the rules are actually being enforced but it might just be because it was Hagrid’s. I’ve seen a lot of TMs purposefully ignoring guests not wearing masks at other attractions and either they don’t care or can’t handle the confrontation.

Just left there after a 3 day trip. Enforcement is mixed. I always have nose exposed every chance I get and I was only told a handful of time to pull it up. It seems if you are not wearing a mask at all, enforcement better. If they see it strapped to your face, you are mostly good regardless of if it’s over your nose. Love that!

We saw 4 people confronted after being inside the line (many people are asked to put the mask on when they first enter the queue). All of them gave the TMs attitude at a minimum. That one was taken out of line. Compliance to the rules got a lot worse over the weekend. I don’t know if that was because there were more locals, it was busier, or if people are seeing others get away with having their masks under their nose so they do it too.

I hate masks, but if somewhere says they are required then they are required. I hope all the parks get stricter with enforcement or just drop the requirement for everybody.

Kick people out of line after they've gotten to the loading platform once or twice, and they'll start wearing their masks properly. It would be so easy.

Know what people hate more than masks? Jerks who think no one notices or cares that they are breaking the rules. Hope you don't have kids that are learning from your selfish entitled behavior.

They actually would probably need to coordinate to have security do it. The people I saw confronted in line were jerks about it and the TM don’t know which people are jerks enough to be violent. The TM who did it at Hagrid’s was taking a chance.

But I would have loved to see a few hauled out by security. And yes, that would definitely put a stop to it.

Wish they could team up with security for a weekend and implement - word about that will spread real quick! As news gets out, people will become compliant (have to be a real idiot to chance it again after you are unceremoniously booted from line once). Then fewer will be encouraged to cheat because they won't be surrounded by other cheaters, all seeing no consequences.

They could pick a line and just walk through it kicking people out. Work their way around the parks. Random times/rides - quite effective!

ugggghhhh... See, I also don't like masks. But what I hate more is people who know the rules and decide they don't apply to them because they don't like the rules. Which is exactly what " I always have my nose exposed" is. What is the point of wearing one at all if you aren't going to wear it right? Good lord. Kids can follow the rules, but apparently adults can't...

It'd be so nice to see karma be delivered 💐, for once.
