Heads Up, Park Hours Updated Dec Through 1/5

FYI....Looks like another second or third Friday of the month hours update, this time covering some December through 1/5 dates and parks.

Good time to recheck plans and times if you have an upcoming trip.

When park hours change, FPs for those new hours usually become available sometime over the next few days.

Bit disappointed there hasn’t been much noticeable change to the week before Xmas other than quite a big change to Wednesday night at MK.
With the limited MK hours that week due to the parties, I’m hoping for some earlier openings, particularly on the Thursday.

Thanks,OP, but I am not changing my plans for it. There is so much preplanning that I've just had enough! Trying to find the least crowded, non-event, time to visit is nearly impossible now. Making the adr's is a trial at times. I didn't get half of of the ones I wanted in December. Then planning fp's, coordinating with other events or tours,...………..and the list goes on and on. I'm not going to even look at my schedule, and just hope for the best. Too much planning to have things changed without much notice. Just , NO.

Yeah, I hear you. Pre 9am regular MK openings have been kind of rare this fall/early winter season.

This sort of change, however, could help you get the things you didn't get before. And if they're opening earlier in the morning, it could make any previously pre-park-opening ADRs useless (if the point was to be in the parks BEFORE it opened). People change things around when park hours change, and it could very well be a GOOD thing for you to check.

For our first trip back in 2010 I had NO clue that hours might change, and we got to MK for our pre-park-opening Crystal Palace ADR only to find the park ALREADY opening, with a crew of 8 hungry people (reduces the ability to change things on the fly when you have to explain it to 7 other personalities), and we sat there, eating, as lines filled up. This sort of hour change is WORTH knowing.

How soon do they update FastPass to the later times? 12/15 MK hours were extended to midnight, but FastPass isn’t showing past 8:30 yet.

When this kind of thing has happened in the past, it's usually over the next 'few' days. Unfortunately that's kind of vague. And not all parks/rides get added all at once, it seems to be some sort of rolling pattern. I'd pop the app or website open every once in awhile when you have a free moment and keep checking.

Never thought of that, bumbershoot! I will check it out for early morning. It's still aggravating that we have to do this when we follow their rules and make all our adr's, fp's months ahead, is all.
