It looks like AP and Florida resident rates have been lowered (or released) for this summer. Booked my niece at RPR for $149/night during the week. Slightly higher rates apply on weekends. July 4th week AP rate at PBH is $179/night! I kepty my AAA rate at $258 to keep my suite. Check your rates!

I have SS rate and its still lower than AP rates- $140 midweek and $152 fri and Sat

I agree cause I have SS rates for end of June and same price :thumbsup2

I'm also booked in July with the SS rate and it's cheaper. I also spoke with a hotel rep and was told the SS rate will expire at the end of this month. So anyone that wants this deal better book now.

How many nights do you have booked at that rate...

I know SS rates you need to stay a minimum of nights to qualify, so maybe those who can only do a night or two can benefit from these new rates..

The lower rates benefit me. We have to stay 5 nights to get a better SS rate than the AP rate. Currently we have 5 nights at PBR at $180/night. I'm switching to two nights at RPR for $149/night. That's about $700 less for fewer nights at the resort we prefer. We had talked ourselves into a longer stay to get the lower rates, but we are DVC members and would prefer to use our points for the rest of the nights.

Thanks to the OP for posting the new rates!

The supersaver rates are definiytely less expensive if staying for 5 nights. My niece is only staying one night and $149 is a great deal for a one or two night stay.

My trip July 4th week at PBH is only for 3 nights and my AAA rate is the same rate as the supersaver rate for a three night stay. I would like to stay longer but we are staying at a St Pete resort for three nights where one of my other nieces is getting married and then on to DVC three nights on the same dates a bunch of family members will be at WDW. I would have liked to benefit from the 5 night discount at PBH and save my DVC points for another trip but WDW will be fun with the extended family also!

I had no idea what to expect Wednesday when I called the 800# and asked for the best rate available for 2 nights (July 6 & 7) at RPR. I knew rack was $249 and the AAA rate was $211. I told the CM I have an AP and AAA. She quoted me the $149 Passholder rate and I almost fell out of my chair!! :yay: That's 40% off rack!! :thumbsup2 Then she asked me a silly question: did I want to "book it"?!!!! Heck yeah!! :rotfl:

I saw this on the AP holder website today. Now I can finish making my summer plans. I was waiting to see what Disney was going to offer to their AP holders, but US beat them to the punch by releasing earlier.

I just checked the AP rate for RP and HRH during my dates and the rates have definitely dropped! Actually, when I originally made my reservations a few months ago, there were no AAA or AP rates available for HRH. I called back yesterday and the rate for garden view room at HRH is now $204 - wow! RP is even lower. I've made the switch and we're booked at HRH now - won't my music-lovin' teens be thrilled!

Thank you!

I just checked for our dates June 28-July 5th and the SS rate is best for us. We have SS rate of 163.79 a night and the AP rate would be 184.99 for a Garden View room. I do not care about the view at all so will keep my lower rate. Oh and we are staying at the HRH

For our dates in June we had a SSR for 4 nights total $788 (somewhere in that range). Changed it to APH rate this am and the total is now something like $682. Ended up saving me around $100 to change to APH. <y 19 yr old decided to buy an AP a few weeks ago so his AP will save us $$$.

Does anyone have a guess as to when FL Res rates will be released for November? We want just one night and curious when I may be able to book it.

Does anyone know if APH rates are available for all types of annual passes (including the Power Pass)? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, power pass is not included. The PP does not have any real perks other than park admission.

This is from the AP holder website for the room discounts:

Black out dates and arrival/departure restrictions may apply. Advance reservations are required. Rate is based on Standard room category. Additional charges apply for different room categories. Offer is not valid with other promotional offers, group, or negotiated rates. This offer does not qualify for YOUFirst benefits. Rates subject to change without advance notice. Savings are off of rack rate. Rates vary on Friday & Saturday nights, and 5/24/09.
