Heads up if you fly American Airlines and have a 2007 Entertainment Book!

There's a coupon in the center of the 2007 Entertainment Book to save 5% off any fare worldwide for up to 6 passengers on American Airlines (one-time use)! It doesn't matter which Entertainment Book you bought - it's in the center Travel & Hotels section. You need to register your Entertainment book, then go to www.entertainment.com/aa to log-in and get your promo code, which you then redeem when booking flights at www.aa.com. The discount is good for reservations booked through Dec. 31, 2007.

we heavy UA fliers are bemoaning the loss of our United discounts as of 2007 Entertainment book over on flyertalk.com. Yes, they were not overly easy to use unless you booked them as 'hold' and ticketed in person (not tough for those of use who see the inside of an airport weekly) but the $25/50/75 off was a big win - even when I'm not paying for the ticket, I may as well use them to save my company/clients money.

The American Airlines discount couldn't have been easier to use. Whatever fare you choose online, you put in the promo code before actually purchasing the ticket. I have two different Entertainment books, but for some reason Entertainment gave me 2 discount codes for each book.

you can only use the two United codes online that come in an email; the other dozen or so are paper and need to be handed in for the discount.

There were posters here who had issues with that; I suppose anyone who isn't near an airport would have a challge to use it.

United's website is about the only thing I would actively criticize about my favourite airline!

I did register my book online however ever time I try to use the www.entertainment.com/aa I get an invail page. Any suggestions?
