I just canceled my orbitz GF CL and rebooked on Travelocity using a no cap 20% promo they JUST emailed me. Saved almost $600!!!! The room was already on sale and now that I added the 20% off and paid with a 2% credit card I think I'm staying club level for around 47% off (not sure what the wdw discount was to start with).

The only caveat was that I book it using their mobile site which was a bit of a pain but it worked.

It's one of those people get when they sign up to receive emails. Try signing up now. Pretty sure they are unique to each person such as a pin code.

Not sure if the signing up will send you a promo code, but there is one available that anyone can use: NEWYEAR2016 that you can get ~ 16% off.

Doesn't Orbitz guarantee the lowest prices? If you find a lower price then they will match it. Of course, I've never actually tried to get the lower price.

Hmmm....not sure if that works when other companies give a no cap promo. I'm happy staying with travelocity but you do raise an interesting question. I once had a better price at cheap tickets but was getting a higher cash back at travelocity. I screen shot the cheap tickets page and wrote an email to travelocity. At first, they claimed they could not find the price I was quoting so I had to push. They finally matched it be it came as a refund after my trip. It was a bit of a pain to follow through with the whole deal, but in the end they did honor it.

Travelocity will let me add my 2 kids and does not charge anything extra! This will save a lot of headache not having to call Orbitz and have them add them. Does Travelocity give you a reservation number to link to MDE and do I have to give them my room request or can I call Disney and do it myself? Thanks for the great info!

If you have to cancel, Travelocity will charge you a $25 fee. Orbitz will not.

I ran through the numbers yesterday to compare the orbitz 15% no cap vs. the 20% no cap travelocity, and even with the orbucks earned and the ebates cash, travelocity was still cheaper. I've used them before and had a smooth experience so I think I'll keep my plans. Still hoping for a pass holder's deal though.
