HEADS UP... Disney just changed the EMH schedule for July all the way thru Dec...

I have to make some planning changes, but I am glad to have more hours in the park. Originally our EMH were 9-11 and now they are 11-1. I love late night at the Magic Kingdom.

UGH!!! Late hours were cancelled at MK the night we were planning to go! Time to revise the plans again!!!:confused3

Give me strength...:faint: I don't know how many more changes, how much more planning, how many alternative ADRs, I want to make. I might just go without ANY plans at all and see what happens. THis is so frustrating. :rolleyes2 Hopefully it'll work, but now I need to sit down and look at it all again...

Thanks for ruining my plans and forcing me to purchase hoppers so I can make my evenings work Disney.

I noticed this the other day!!! They took our one late night MK EMH away in Nov. So upset about it.

In a goofy way it may help us. We are driving to WDW 11/15 and were planning on heading to MK to get in some extra park time. They are offering evening EMH that night so MK will be open until midnight. It may be a little more crowded but we were just going to do some of the less popular attractions.

This is not acceptable. I am one of those loyal disney travelers, as I know many of you are that always has my next tripped booked before I leave. I wake up early 180 days in advance to make al my reservations based on the charts that I have created with the EMH. Then again 60 days in advance I wake up early again to set up all my fast passes (which honestly I find to be a pain, since there are some days I would love to decide later). But I do it based in EMH and my food reservations. I do this not because I have so much spare time, but because planning for my vacation means so much to me. Trust me tis is actually time that I do not have. All of us have followed the guidelines that disney has provided, and now I feel as though we are being penalized. Does anyone had any idea who we can call? I feel like if I call the travel line I will just get some poor CM who has been getting calls all day and has no authority to make any changes.

It looks as if the MK morning EMH on Oct 23 (Thurs) is still happening? That's all I'm worried about, love my EMH MK mornings!

We were already heading to MK on the Saturday night (25) and were already expecting big crowds since it's not a party night. - saving our fast passes for that day for nighttime rides at MK. :) Then going to the party the next night.

So if I'm reading correctly, this doesn't really change anything for us.

I do not like this. I have noticed in the past that hours change (usually longer) but to change EMH is not good. Realize ADRs are actually 180+10. I understand recommended vs required, but if I am planning I don't care if it is a restaurant that you can get reservations the day of, if I am making Reservations 180 days out, I am doing it to plan the overall trip. They really need to lock in EMH, major entertainment event times (F+, MSEP) in 7 months out.

Good Gosh! What the hay is wrong with them? Disney advertises how wonderful this new FP system will be because we can "PLAN" our rides and "SAVE" time. We comply. We think we are all set. And then Disney drops the bomb!

We worked hard planning our MK EMH day with another family from another state who meet us every year. We coordinate ADR's, this year we had to plan rides, especially SDMT, and which days will work for both families. Not so easy to switch things around. So NOT HAPPY. GRRRRRRRRR!

Well, T-Riffic. We weren't even going to the MK till noon Sunday so we could go have brunch with my brother. We figured we'd just do magic hours. Only going to be there for the weekend for Villains Party. Why do they throw a monkey wrench into it this late? I'll go look and see what's happened to our December plans. Dang it.

Maybe Disney needs everyone to commit on FPs first. Then they'll see where everyone is going and adjust the calendar to fit their needs.

Remember, this is the new "magic THEIR way" campaign.

So is the EasyWDW calendar showing the changes? Or do I need to find them somewhere else? I'm going in late Sept and want to make sure I don't need to change plans!

The EasyWDW calendars probably aren't updated yet. He'll have to update a lot of them and may not have had the time yet (this kid seems to do the website as a public service; no ads, no revenue, he won't take donations - crazy of him, but I am thankful because his website is great).

I would check the calendar that the Travel Agents use - I don't have the link anymore but perhaps someone else can share it???? Or perhaps use the WDW website? One would hope, at the very least, they have updated THEIR schedule... since they certainly have the revenue to do so

The changes to Extra Magic Hours start the day after we leave, but I understand why everyone is upset. Having to make changes and adjustments so close to your vacation is frustrating and could possibly make you miss attractions important to your family because of less availability.

While the changes don't appear to have any impact on our September 22-28 trip, it is still unacceptable.

We are going to Animal Kingdom on July 16. I just looked at the calendar and it looks like Animal Kingdom will be opening at 7am that morning with EMH. Is that normal? I had on my calendar that I created a few months ago that they opened at 8am with an EMH that day.

I want to be there at rope drop and go right to Everest to ride it without a FP but I am not sure if the bus at POFQ will pick me up at 6 or 630 am for AK.
