HEADS UP... Disney just changed the EMH schedule for July all the way thru Dec...

Sorry for everyone that this effects negatively... It doesn't impact our park plans at all (luckily)... and I am actually pleased that they moved MK EMH to the weekend, hoping this will draw more guests away from the parks we already planned to go to

Well that wasn't so bad. However, now our one evening at MK (no party that night) has EMH and will likely be a madhouse. We have a BOG ressie that evening so no changing plans.

Affected us this way too. My last day at Disney, I chose MK to do any left over rides we missed. We check out at 11am and they added EMH in the morning which now means it will be crowded by the time we get there. It was originally a recommended park. I avoid all EMH parks. Oh and we have a FO for Anna and Elsa so no changing parks.
We need to back at 5pm for magical express...late flight.

Ugh...no more Magic Kingdom EMH for my entire trip in September, and they'll only be open until 9 on the 15th when I planned to go...thanks a lot, Disney ...might be best if we relax and get some sleep for AK rope drop the next morning, but still. I'm a night owl and I wanted to stay at MK until at least 10.

So I get up at midnight to set up fast passes sixty days in advance to plan exactly what park and what ride I want to be on two months from now (around the EMH no less)- and now the hours change? I am so less than thrilled (to say the very least)! I had already skipped renewing my APs this year after experiencing FP plus. Not sure what my breaking straw will be to make be go somewhere else- but I feel that straw starting to poke me.

Yepp. I thought I liked pre-planning, but now I'm thinking it sucks because I've wasted all that time figuring out things that just got messed up before I even got there.

I *think* I may be in the happy camper boat with you, but usually crowd-wise it is better to avoid the EMH park. We are night owls so like the late one's. However, this has me wondering about crowds a bit over Labor Day weekend if they do indeed have back to back evening EMH at MK
Our 60 day is on Monday...so OP for posting this. For those who it sent back to the drawing boards...I hope it means things work out even better.

Thank you for letting us know. I only had a few minor changes, but still frustrating to lose EMH evening time as it is my favorite. Feeling sympathy for those who really had their plans messed up.

I'm glad I decided not to buy tickets for Villians Unleashed or we wouldn't be able to do evening EMH at MK which is one of our favorite things. The only thing that stinks is that I have CP reservations booked for the 23rd because that was supposed to be the EMH night and I can't get a good time on the 24th. On the other hand I've been trying to talk my DH and DD out of going to CP for I think the 9th time so now I can claim that Disney messed up my plans and I had to drop that reservation

I don't understand why they release hours and make ADR's 180 days in advance. I thought 120 was too much. They should make it 90 days, then they can decide the schedule and not make drastic changes.
