Have been lurking on these boards for quite some time without posting. BUT, since I have learned so much, I thought I'd share the one thing we learned this trip: GF charged us $10 to deliver our water bottles to our room. Somehow I missed this on the threads that I read about water delivery!

We ordered a case of 24 bottles from Costco (cost us $7), and it was not delivered to our room with our luggage. In fact, Concierge, the front desk and the bell desk said it was not received. So I called FedEx and found out exactly where it was delivered and the person who signed for it. Even though I had completed the address label as indicated in the instructions, it was delivered to the GF deliver dock (right where they found it).

So they delivered the water to our room and charged us $10. And although $17 for 24 bottles is far cheaper than the per-bottle price in the parks, I thought I would let everyone know so that you are not surprised as we were! Still worth the cost to have it delivered...

I ordered water a few times and never got charged until I stayed at B.C.
$5.00 delivery charge they came to my room with a Credit Card reader.
When I stayed at pop & C.B. they didn't charge I wonder if its the delux resorts that charge

I guess Disney has realized that they are loosing money on people getting water from outside the parks.

When did you stay at the beach club? I actually heard that they are now charging $10, but it sounds like if you can get it sent to the front desk as opposed to their normal shipping area, you might be able to avoid that fee if you pick it up at the desk? Can anyone confirm this, or does anyone have any more info? Thanks!

I suspect it has more to do with the costs incurred in handling guest package deliveries than anything else.

I heard of one other posting saying they were going to order water from Costco but she had never done it before so do you mind letting me know how that works? I thought they only did business deliveries? I would love to use Costco since we are coming from California and will not have a car to go offsite and buy water.

BC DOES charge a $10 fee for water delivery. I can attest to that.:rolleyes1
