Heading to 21 Royal Disneyland VIP Dinner- Anyone had this experience?

I think that would work for me, as long as it isn't the same day as Alex's college spring performance! I'd better start putting away some money lol.

It was worth every dollar. We did it last year with four other couples (yes, our group was only ten). We were hesitant at first due to the cost but considered it a "once in our lifetime" sort of thing. It was truly magical. They meet your group at GCH and then VIP shuttle you over to the 21 Royal suite. We had cocktails and received some history of the suite and then got to wander around for a bit and discover some of the surprises in the suite. And then dinner. It was very good. The wines that were paired with each course were perfect. The staff was very attentive and made you feel very special. And watching Fantasmic from the balcony above POTC was also spectacular. You will definitely enjoy it. (I'd post photos but not sure how since it keeps saying the photo size is too large)

Please add some commentary to this. I LOVE the looks of everything and the experience sounds AMAZING...

21 starts off with Drinks on the interior patio presumably (from the relative order of things and the pics I've seen)

First... the Personalized Place Setting. Ohh.... those... chargers!!!!

And...the Menu

And the first course...The Golden Osetra Caviar, Root Vegetable Parfait...

And the Third course...Roasted Cauliflower Cloud, Aged Serrano, Golden Raisin, Capers, Pine Nuts

Presumably, the Fourth course? Not sure the protein or the sauce, but it looks yummy

Fifth Course? I'm trying to figure out what I'm seeing here. I see a potato... Maybe pork belly and wild mushrooms over a cauliflower puree? I definitely see arugula. The seed at the bottom reminds me of fig, but could be mustard? WISH I KNEW...

Sixth Course/Main? Beef and huckleberries for sure. Not sure what's inside the potato...

Pastry course? Hard to know. I see fruits and that same strange green thing. THe nearest thing I would equate the look of it is a candied hop? Inquiring minds want to know!!

Looks like truffles and other assorted goodies.

You seem to get your run of the former Dream Suite (with pictures allowed). I've been up there, but pictures weren't allowed sans the one CM-taken pic in the living room.

The Carousel horse from the living room.

The Grandfather clock and picture of Château de Chenonceau which inspired Cinderella's castle at WDW (I paid attention on the tour of the Dream Suite)

The guest bedroom. The Good Night Kiss is amazing to witness. We got to see it once on my tour. The question is do you get to see it multiple times when dining at 21 Royal?

And lastly, the goodie bag!!!

Thanks for loading the photos. Each group gets to give input on their menu so it really will be different each time. A couple of additional comments. The sommelier will tell a story as he introduces each wine paired with that particular course. The Good Night Kiss experience in each bedroom...very magical and you can do it as many times as you want. The pre-dinner cocktails in the courtyard were very relaxing. And that shot of the bathtub didn't show it but the ceiling has a hidden Mickey.

Yes, rooms and accommodations are not included. Valet parking at GCH is included. A VIP shuttle then whisks your group through the backlot (no photos are allowed), to the back of the New Orleans train station. You then walk to the 21 Royal suite with everyone wondering who are these people all dressed up coming out of a secret gateway. Very magical evening all around.

No room, but you valet park there.

I LOVE the mermaids in the Master.

I can't wait to see your TR for your 60th. That is going to be an AMAZING trip I'm sure. I LOVED checking out the suite, but they didn't take us onto the interior patio on the tour. Simply an amazing place, and can you believe Joe got to spend the night!!

I'm sure if you are important enough and there isn't a 21Royal booking for that event the Dream Suite is still available to be stayed in (like you are Johnny Depp Important).

I remember when they were giving away stays in the Dream Suite for the "Year of a Million Dreams" during the 50th! I was like 9 years old during that time and thought how awesome it would be to stay there and walk around Disneyland at nighttime (still think that would be utterly amazing)! Such a beautiful place.

You have me drooling!!! To be allowed free roaming of the Dream Suite too. My memories are somewhat fading from my one and only time in it, but these pictures are taking me right back. LOVE IT!!!

I must do this.

Amy's trying to talk sense into me with our upcoming Dapper Day trip in April and 10 days at Aulani/Maui in September, but I'm not trying to hear it. I must put a group together and get this done next year lest they discontinue it.
