Heading back to the Fort.....hopefully

Hi everyone. Been a while since I have been on here. We use to go to Disney every year and then life just got in the way. Last time we were there was 2013. Hoping to be able to snag a reservation in November. Right now everything is booked.
Usually we plan way ahead but with so much mess going on at work I just wasn't even thinking about it. Hopefully something will open. Trying to get there before Veterans Day for 9 or 10 days. Think something will open up?

Miracles can happen, loveDmouse, if you keep checking and trying the reservation line or link.

Weekends in spring and fall book up months in advance from locals and near-locals coming in for a short trip. Veteran's Day is Friday November 11 and that weekend is what hoses you. Arriving Sunday Nov 13 to Friday Nov 18 has availability at all levels. Bumping arrival back to Thurs Nov 10 shows none available.

You might take what you can get and keep trying to snag the weekend days. If you book a Full for some dates and a Preferred for others, you may in fact have to move. You may have to shorten your trip, stay off site some, or move within the Fort.

Just keep trying. Nice to have you back on the board.

Thanks for the advice Bama Ed! I hadn't looked at the 13th for arrival. I might do that and see what I can piece together. Our anniversary is the 19th and that is when we usually try to go so that is why I am trying around these dates. I won't give up. I am happy to be back.

The weekend after Vets Day is the one leading into Thanksgiving week so i would expect it to be tight too. But i did see if you left out on Saturday Nov 19 only Premiums were full - the other three levels had availability. Leaving on Sun Nov 20th was hosed. Nothing available that Sat night.

I keep playing with the dates and things are starting to open up. I am focusing more on being there on the 19th and not going in Veterans weekend. I feel like something will open up.

I did check with a CM. I called after not finding anything on line. She checked multiple dates with no luck. I will just keep searching and calling.

I was able to snag a preferred site for most of the days I wanted. Nov 13th-19th. Hoping something will open up to get to stay on our anniversary (19th) and be able to switch to premium site. I'm so excited. I'm going to keep looking cause I've definitely seen things opening up where at first there wasn't.

I was able to snag a premium site. Yay! Still trying to get another night or two on the end but I'm getting there. They didn't have any when I first checked but when I asked about discount code I got today in mail for previous guests I was able to get one. Guess they had some set aside. I'm excited because never in all our trips to the Fort have I been able to use a discount offer.
