Heading back to Princess Josie's Castle-An AKV May 22-29 PTR-TR Started 6/3!

You need to give me some tips on DVC girl. I kept the contact info you PM'ed me and I will be contacting your salesperson this afternoon. I guess I will have more money to put down on DVC if we stay at the Poly and buy while we're down there. I started back on the C25K program yesterday. :woohoo: I'm a little sore today but not bad. I've been walking like a mad woman but it just isn't the same as running. :goodvibes

No problem! I will tell you this though. When you contact him, let him know you got his information from me. DVC members get WDW gift cards/money for referrals, but only if you buy.:goodvibes

Keep on running girl. I remember that first run and feeling like I would die. Waking up the next morning was definitely not fun!

I left your guy a message and mentioned your names. He will be back in the office tomorrow afternoon so maybe I will hear something and can get a tour penciled in.

I didn't feel bad during the run itself but man are my legs sore today. I'm going to keep at it. Maybe I will finish the 9 weeks before we head to Disney. That would be great! :woohoo:

He's normally really good at returning phone calls. Just remember, he gives tours during the work day as well.

There should be no problem scheduling a tour this far out. He called us the day before ours to schedule it for the next day.

You should be able to finish your C25K before the trip. I'm kind of stuck right now. I was supposed to run today, and we have rain in the forecast everyday until Thursday. We'll see what I can do.

Glad you are still staying at the Polynesian too. That is the bad thing about DVC, we can't stay there anymore. :sad2: Well, we can, but using our points we might as well pay normally. It doesn't save us anything.

I hope to hear back from him today. Joe told me to schedule it for anytime on the Thursday of our trip so I guess we will be giving up our beach day. That's okay. I'm ghostly and the beach isn't my idea of fun anyway. Today is my run day and I'm so ready. :woohoo: I'll let you know when I get my tour booked. Also, please let me know all the ins and outs please any thoughts you have on ups and downs of being a member. What's your take on DVC resale also?

I know Sarah. I have always dreamed of staying at the Poly so Joe is right this needs to be the trip to make that a reality. :goodvibes If we go for DVC we won't want to spend points on the Poly anymore. :goodvibes You only have a month to go girl! How exciting. I'm dancing for you! :dance3::banana::dance3::banana:

So I FINALLY made it back to give you the skinny on this past weekend. Sorry for not updating yesterday, I was busy with Scouts and then we've majorly changed the plan for my Mom and Dad's vow renewal so I was working on that last night with my Mom. I will give you an update on that this week too! :thumbsup2

Anyway so Friday night Joe and I had a date night. Lindsey spent the evening with her best buddy (it was her birthday party) and Josie spent the night with Nana and Pop. (Them moving with 8 miles has it's advantages!!! :thumbsup2). Joe and I went to see Cop Out at the movies. It was so FUNNY!!!! We really enjoyed watching an R rated film. Joe took me out to eat at Longhorn also. It was yummy like always!! We had a good time together. Between the movie and dinner we went over to Old Navy and killed some time. I found the cutest dress for Josie to wear at the luau for less than $4. I will post a pic towards the end of the PTR when I do my wardrobe download. :goodvibes

Anyway Saturday morning we headed to Lousiville for the Kentucky Crafted Exhibition and Market. It is incredible. This is a showcase of Kentucky artisans/crafters and their work. There's food, clothing, miniature dollhouse furniture, music, glasswork, paintings, jewelry, furniture...you name it! I love this show and I always walk away with something fun and unique to bring home. Here are some pics from my phone...I let Lindsey be the photographer....

Up first some handcrafted jewelry...

It was a great time. Afterwards, we went to the KingFish to eat. YUM!!! It's a seafood place (y'all know I'm not a big seafood eater) but this was actually scrumptious! It's right on the Ohio River and we had a table next to a ginormous window. We enjoyed a meal and got to watch boats and huge barges going up and down the river. It was great!

Saturday night we had dinner with some friends and did a little more shopping, this time at Kohl's. Found Josie some big healed flippers for our trip. We should have no trouble meeting the height requirements now. :thumbsup2

Sunday we played outside in the sun for awhile and then headed off to see Alice in Wonderland. This is a great movie. I do think some of the scenes are scary for little ones. I have some tough girls that closed their eyes a couple of times but raved about the movie after we left. They loved it. If your kids scare easily I wouldn't spend the money. I might wait for the DVD. Visually, it is fantastic.

Sounds like you guys had an awesome..full, weekend!
I know I love having my parents living just a few miles away...I have always been fortunate for their being close...and when Ashton came along we were both happy that they had followed us to the Northshore!:cloud9:

sounds like you had some really great shopping finds!:thumbsup2

can't wait to hear about the new updates on your parents renewal.

:wave2: Connie

What a fun weekend!! All those crafts were gorgeous! I did some shopping at Kohl's yesterday :)

GUESS WHAT!?!
We MAY be coming your way this weekend...I have to call the school to be sure we can be put on the touring list and Dayne on the testing schedule...but, last minute is our name...I also have to find a place to stay Friday and Saturday night...will PM you tomorrow...

although I'm sure as busy as your life is we may need to look you up in Aug if he decides this really is for him; but, we will be close!

:wave2: Connie

Hey Leanne! I'll get around to giving you some ins and outs this weekend. I'm doing exams at school and posting grades, so my time to sit on here is somewhat limited.

Your weekend sounds fabulous!

I will be sure to get an update out in the next day or so! :thumbsup2 I went out on the spur of the moment tonight and bought myself a new laptop. I've been crutching along with the free computer and it's just slow and now Windows Office so something had to give. :lmao: I'm off in a few to get it going and check it out. Joe doesn't even know I bought it...:lmao:

Oh that would be wonderful Connie! Be sure to shoot me a PM!! Saturday is pretty busy up till about 4pm. After that I'm free the rest of the weekend. No plans! :woohoo: I'd love to meet up if we can work it out! :goodvibes

That's fine Megan- I understand busy:goodvibes. I spent over an hour on the phone with the T today. He speaks highly of you and noted you on my request for info. There are some great incentives for us to buy this month. I have to spend some time with Joe the next day or so explaining it all to him. I don't know if I can convince him to buy without having a look for himself at the quality of the rooms. :confused3 I'm giving it a good try though! T makes a good point in that it makes sense to buy now before we go in May since they are giving you double the points. On April 1, I would have two years worth of pts available to me. I would no longer have to pay for the Poly (I could use pts at AKL and I would save approx $400 on AP's....then if we use the left over pts in November when we go for my Mom's VR we would get back even more of our investment. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I'm so geeked up about it now but I know in the back of my mind that Joe won't commit without seeing for himself. :sad2: I hope school requirements ease up as I'd like to chat with you about it more. :goodvibes Here is me right now...:hyper:

Your weekend looks like it was fun. Date night is always a plus :thumbsup2.

I agree about Alice. Dallas covered his eyes a few times too.

I would have been broke if I had been at that show....I loved everything in the pictures!!! Jasmine is dying to see Alice in Wonderland and Aladdin isn't all that crazy about going so I think her and I might have a girls night and take it in.

It was fun. Looks like more fun ahead this weekend. :goodvibes Alice was fun for sure. Visually, it's amazing.

I've been thinking of you A LOT. I hope you're hanging in there an having the best days possible.

This little turkey fellow just cracks me up. If this guy was in my yard, I think I would laugh everytime I walked outside ! :lmao:

I want to see Alice in Wonderland----Rachel went to see it last Friday night with friends and she really liked it
.
He made me laugh too. There were some really funny dog art work too. We looked this guy up online when we got home. I think I'm going to surprise Joe with a piece for his birthday. He got a huge kick out of this stuff. We're dog lovers so this stuff really spoke to us. It's whimsical and fun. Hope you get to see Alice Michelle! :goodvibes

Hi Queen! I could have gone broke too. I have a new car (new to me anyway) and DVC in my scope so I'm trying to be very reasonable with my spending. I did buy the laptop last night but that is deductible for both school and work so it was really an investment.

I hope you get a girls night! Sounds like fun!! :woohoo: Miss you my friend...I'm being a bad DISer lately and not keeping up as well as I normally do. :sad2:

Hmmm...Maybe I should invest in some of those for Lauren. She's right at 40" but I don't want to take the chance that she'll get turned away from the rides.

Glad you got to go out and have a date night! Mike and I are going out on one of those Friday. Can't wait! :yay:

I was so glad when he took a stand. His support means everything to me. I did start a business. I will contact you through fb about it if you want. I hope it's as great as I think it will be. :goodvibes

Done--sent a message your way.

Looks like you had a great weekend! Date night--what a luxury! Does going to look at my DD's potential preschool room without her considered a date night? :rotfl: I don't think I am going to let Lilian see Alice in Wonderland until at least it is on DVD--I am little nervous about this one, I think it will be too scary for her.

Glad you liked Alice in Wonderland! I don't know if I am going to see it...the previews kind of creep me out. :scared1: LOL.
