Oooh, that would be awesome. How much did you end up getting?

It was definitely more than 6 inches...pretty much snowed all day yesterday. I'd guess maybe about a foot or so? Even though other parts of the state have gotten hit pretty hard this was our first significant snowfall of the season. Our lawn is actually completely covered! LOL.

Morning Leanne. We are working today and it is colder today and tomorrow than yesterday. It is still 0 right now. No schools are open, just too cold with the windchill. We are to get back to 30's by Monday. I'll be ready.

We never get snow here so it's pretty exciting for us. We had flurries all day today so I opened the blinds in my office and just looked at how pretty it was. When I lived in Michigan it got old after the second round of snow. Now it is a novelty.

We went out and played/cleaned off the driveway, van and car so we could go get groceries tonight! I did get pictures of Lilian playing and a few of the yard. I do love the way snow will lay on trees and such. Lilian had a ball playing in it. Daddy is suppose to take her out tomorrow to play too. I will post pictures hopefully tomorrow night. Right now, I am off to bed!

Poor Ally. Does she have school tomorrow? We got about an inch and school has been cancelled. It will be worse tomorrow morning than it was today because the slush will be ice. Try to stay warm Becky! We southerners aren't used to these crazy temps.

Ally did have school today--the "snow" quickly melted yesterday. Today it was FRIGID outside and it was lightly snowing but it did not stick. I felt so bad for all the teachers who had to work car lane this week--brrrr!!! Right now I'm wearing flannel pj's and am covered in blankets. I'm definitely not used to it being this cold!

Okay, so I just started reading tonight, but I've only gotten up to pg 13 thus far, and it's bedtime!!

Awesome cakes! I make Piper's cake every year (my mom always made ours, and I love the tradition of it)..but mine are nowhere near!! as beautiful as the ones you make!

Your girls are so cute! I can't wait to get to Christmas to see how they like their AG dolls and Zhu zhu pets...Piper has 2 AGs..a JLY and Samantha (from my Aunt) and she absolutely loves them! She plays with them at least once a week..lots of tea parties, make-overs..you name it..I'm sure your girls will do the same! Zhu zhus were a different story..Santa brought Piper about $80 worth of zhu zhu cra..err..stuff..she played with them Christmas morning and hasn't touched them since. I think next year Santa is going to be a wiser shopper!! LOL!

I also can't wait to see what you ended up doing for your parent's presentation! It is so neat that you and your brother did that for them!

So we went to the Disney Store at Opry Mills yesterday. Our friends travelling with us in May came along too. We had a great time! The store is closing on 1/23/10 so once I heard that I knew I had to make a run down there. EVERYTHING in the store was an additional 40% off. I got quite a bit of stuff for very little. Here's what we bought...

Josie got the flips and Lindsey got the fairy set...the flips were 60 cents a pr.!!!

Got these but didn't get a pick before they were being played with. The store wasn't sold out on the P&F playset but apparently they are online.

Got a few drink cups but they were washed and being used before I got a pic. The website doesn't show them for some reason. We had fun shopping for sure. I'm very sad that I won't be able to go down there in the future. It was a great Disney store. There were always lots of bargains. I have homework to get finished today. I hope to be back tonight but it may not happen. Hope everyone has had a great weekend!

Wow....LOVE all the stuff you got!! Chris would like the grumpy shirt!!! I can't wait to finally meet ya'll over there...only one I've got to meet so far is Dana. Sounds like the plans are in full swing!!! We're going in June, hopefully staying at the treehouses....I get to book on friday!! Max of us going is 8....min i guess is 7, not sure about my friend's husband yet. But...should be fun!!
