]Last November my husband and I took a late honeymoon to Disneyworld for our first visit as well. 2 weeks after that we found out we were pregnant. We had been trying for 3 years with a loss and lots of treatments between. Sooooo we have had our little Princess and we are planning to go next October for Halloween. I can not wait to take my daughter. She will be 15 months old and I am curious as to what some of you suggest. When we went we were on the go the whole time. I know this is going to be a completely different trip because my focus is her now. Any advice, tips, other forums, anything would be appreciated. Things have been so crazy and I wanted to do a trip report but alas that was pushed and I don't think anyone would be interested in a trip report over 9 months old.

My advice and tip would be to NOT make it about her. She's not going to be any different there than she is at home. Parenting her won't be different traveling vs at home. What's different is where YOU are, and the fun YOU are having.

At 17 months DS went with us to Disneyland; I wore him almost the whole day, we saw things we did things...he was the same kid. Nursed him to sleep on POTC, nursed him 5 minutes after we entered the gates, actually. etc. The whole day was all the same parenting, but with more distractions (both good and bad). Disney is loud, which can grate on babies' nerves (and toddlers and kids and teens and adults). Disney has lots of things going on, which can make nursing and diaper changes difficult (even the baby centers and bathrooms are loud and distracting).

Go for you and enjoy being with her the same as you enjoy being with her at home. You'll have good pictures, some good memories, but you won't have the pressure of *this is for HER*. She just wants to be with mom and dad; that's it.

She'll make her own opinions and make them heard by the time she's 3; then it can shift if you want it to.

Congrats! We honeymooned at disney 2 years ago and are taking our kids back next year for Halloween and their first trip. We'll have a 2.5 year old and 1.5 year old in tow....

We haven't taken them to Disney yet, but we take our kids everywhere else. Once of my favorite things for the kids is noise cancelling headphones. We got their's for fireworks and concerts because they are every weekend where we live. If they get fussy we pop the headphones on them and they go right to sleep.
