HEA desserts parties, which one has best views?.

We are considering doing one of the dessert parties in April.. Are the views better with the Treat and Seats or with the standing in the plaza area?

View will be better in the Plaza as it’s more straight on. Treats and Seats will be slightly off to the side and further away, but I’ve heard it’s still a nice view. I didn’t love the Plaza one when I did it because it’s standing only…

I should have also said: the fireworks you will see well from both, but will be harder to see the full castle projections from Treats&Seats. Or so I’ve read online…I’ve only done the plaza.

I've done both. we prefer treats and seats. At Treats and Seats we were not right up against the rails, but the next row back and it was perfect because we were just under the over hang. I love that your table is reserved and you can leave it and come back all night - and it will still be there. I also like being able to get desserts / drinks right up until the fireworks begin - vs. the Plaza viewing where once you leave the dessert party to go the lawn that's pretty much it- unless you want to lose your "spot". Also, it started raining about 2/3 of the way through the fireworks so since were were under the overhang we were able to stay at our table nice and dry and watch the whole show.

The Plaza has a direct (straight on) view of the castle, but as more and more people finished their desserts, that area became fairly crowded.

We've done both - I preferred the Plaza. We arrived about 10mins before the start of fireworks (desserts were after) and had a great view and space to move around. It looked busy, but wasn't.

I found the seated experience poor - both times. View was side on, and hard to see the main projections. Fireworks view was ok. We had a good seat at the rail but found people crowding round us when the show started (who moved from further back).

Plaza and it’s not even a contest. Unless you need to sit down that badly you are paying more for a worse view with treats and seats.

Standing in the plaza is the better view. Treats and seats is nice but I would only do it if you couldn't stand for the length of the show.
