Is the HEA dessert party a pre-paid event? Did I pay when I made the reservation, or should I expect to pay when we check in for the party?

You pay when you make the reservation, so whatever card is in your file, it would have been charged to that. When you get to the desk for the party, you just give your name.

Pay when you make reservations and be aware of the cancellation policy, which might be 5 days prior -- don't quote me but check in case it becomes necessary.

FYI, you are correct, the HEA party has a 5 day cancellation policy.

OK, thanks everyone. I couldn't remember if I'd paid for it or not. No chance we are cancelling- it's our first night at WDW (12:20pm flight arrival on Southwest so I'm not worried)- but I'll keep it in mind. ONLY 8 DAYS TO GO!!

No rain from me here but the last thing we do on arrival day is prepay an event, dessert party or dinner show. We got stuck in Milwaukee once for three hours, then three more on the last leg and missed our ADR. Ohana! When Ohana was not vilified.
