So excited about the great reviews for the new show. Did anyone get to see it from the dessert party? I'm curious if you can see the projections well or if it will be an absolute must to join the masses for the full effect. I apologise if this is posted elsewhere, I did some digging and couldn't find anything conclusive.

If you want to avoid the masses AND enjoy the dessert party, book the dessert party with Plaza Garden viewing. It's cheaper and you get a better view.

We watched it last night from the garden view. The location was great!! We saw all the projections. I recommend grabbing a spot in the very back along the fence. I said to my husband that I was so glad we didn't pay extra for the table view. Also, the CM's did a great job of keeping non party guests out.

So awesome to hear! Thank you!

Here is a photo from the viewing area. I'm new at posting so hopefully I did it right.

Wow! Thank you. This will definitely be money well spent, I'll be traveling with two young children and two senior citizens, in no way do I want to be having to stake out a spot super early.

Did the Plaza Garden Viewing version last night. Money well spent for us! My motivation for booking was to have a reserved viewing spot, desserts were really secondary.

Had plenty of room in the Plaza Garden, loved it! Below is a pic. I could have moved to get that light tower out of my line of site, but it wasn't really bothersome. Looks worse in this static picture than real life.

I would absolutely do this over the Tomorrowland Terrace version, no real question there unless you really need a table/chairs the whole time.

We sat on the ground while we waited but did stand up for the show.

Picture looks great! How much time was spent sitting on the ground? Not sure everyone in our group can do this but I love the idea of the Plaza viewing area.

I moved over to the Plaza Garden at 8:35 based on my pic time stamps. You could have gone earlier, could have gone later. HEA started at 9pm.

I was somewhere towards the middle in terms of when people migrated over. I 'think' with the new show and viewing angles at a premium, more people wanted to grab a good spot than before, if I had to guess.

Most of the Plaza Garden view is roughly the same but not all spots in that area are created equal. There are subtle differences in being in the front, back, left, right, etc.

Planning to do this on Christmas day at Plaza Garden. I hope there is enough room to set up a tripod for some good pics.

Can you come and go from the Plaza area? I'm wondering if it would be worth it for my 77 year old dad. He couldn't stand the whole time, I wonder if he could leave and sit for a while and rejoin the rest of us if needed?

Why do these two pictures seem to show a different view? One is much closer. Was it using a zoom?

One I would pay for one I would not do that is why I'm asking.

where were you in the viewing area- back, front, left right? thanks your photo is great[/QUOTE

We sat in the back in the middle. My picture is zoomed in but the view is fantastic still.

My picture is zoomed in but the view is still great! You really can't beat having a place to relax and not have to claim an hour in advance. We were able to see everything fine.

I am wondering if they will change the pricing structure - I can imagine the Garden view area is going to become more popular given the projection viewing aspect

I need to look at some maps and see where the two viewing areas are. I was reading on another thread that terrace dessert party was taken to plaza view. I thought they had to stay at terrace. And then some people say garden view. I'm just confused. I have never been interested in dessert party before. But since there is no parade I just imagined coming out of dinner and grabbing a spot about an hour prior because for wishes it doesn't need to be very specific. I'm not sure how my 9 yo will see this. Did all the kids have to held the whole time?

There are two options with the dessert party. For everyone the actual desserts are in the Tomorrowland Terrace - but then for some you have a table in that area and you stay there to watch the show from there. For others you just eat there but then move to the plaza garden viewing area to watch the show and you do not have a table
