I think I need some help. We are coming up on a trip to OKW in a two bedroom and we have 10 people.

Before the flamethrowers come out, I know I know. Our party is two families, 4 adults and 6 children. And several of the children are very small.

Some are too young for the dining and some have season passes. So I am not over the 8 plus 1 under 3 for dining and passes. My problem is with the ME. I need to move 10 people from the airport and back.

Any suggestions? What is the cheapest way to move that one person.

I hate breaking up our group but...

Thanks

This is what I get when I try to book a shuttle van online.
And the Sedan is $130 Round Trip. Yikes.

Disney World Magical Express Disney's Magical Express motorcoach service is available to OLD KEY WEST Guests. A reservation is required prior to arrival at the airport. Please call Walt Disney World Reservations at 407-934-7639 to make your reservation now.

If you would rather ride in a Mears private chauffeur driven Luxury Sedan with Meet and Greet baggage claim service, please click the button below.

ME is a wonderful "free" service.

I am sure you now see the value WDW is providing to you, I am sure you are also now starting to understand why DVC has placed limits on the # of people in a room.

You do know that the Dine your Way will be based upon the number of people using ME, don't you?

IMO you are simply better off to tell DVC the number of people you plan on putting into the room, so that you can get ME for everyone and also the Dininnig plan.

If 2-3 of the people are infants I am certain they will work with you.

A cab or Mear's Shuttle would be more in the $25 range (plus gratuity) for transportation from the airport.

Are so saying that you have 10 on your reservation for a 2BR and DME won't allow one to ride? If you were allowed to have 10 guests on the reservation, I don't believe DME would refuse to transport all of the registered guests. If you have some other plan for the additional guest then you will need to plan your own transportation.

It also sounds as though you are planning to get the DDP without purchasing for all guests in your room? Why not just give Disney the names and ages of everyone who will be in your room and you may be able to enjoy all of the benefits of the Disney programs offered.

Yes, we have two under three.

As long as all 10 guests are on your reservation there will not be any problem using DME - unless you have neglected to include all guests on the reservation and then you are violating the DDP. Just give them all names on the reservation and you'll have everything you need.

Thanks Doc,

I know it is a much debated topic here and I do not want to beat a dead horse, but if I were staying in Port Orleans Riverside in 2 rooms I would be fine.

yes it would be fine there.

you are not staying there.

the limits on people to a room are in place to protect owners of DVC.

I am not saying this to be mean, I am simply stating a fact.

Thank you for your advice and suggestions dvcjim. We have been members of DVC since 2000. We are in now way trying to take advantage of DVC, or ruin it for anybody else. We are just trying to get advice on how we should handle our upcoming trip. We are going to get answers from the people who know them, so we will contact DVC directly.

Thank you to everyone else who has responded. :)

As this thread is already leaning towards an occupancy debate, and since the OP has her question answered, I am closing it. If you wish to continue discussing the occupancy angle, you may do so here: DVC Occupancy thread
