My DS (3yrs) wanted to go out and play in snow since last night, when it started to snow. We told him it was too late and that he would have to wait till the morning. He woke up this morning and said "Daddy let's go play in the snow now" :teeth: We told him right after breakfast. (Can you imagine he forgot to eat, that is rare ;) ) We then got him all dressed snow suit, gloves, hat, scarf, and boots. He then steps outside stands there for a few minutes (he could not really move because of the high winds) He then started to cry. :( I opened the door and let him in. He said "the wind was blowing snow in my eyes". I told him it's ok you can go out later. It has not stopped snowing. I feel so bad he has been waiting so patiently. During the day he did ask me where are his sunglasses. LOL :sunny: He thought that would protect his eyes from the blustery snow. :D

Aww, poor guy! You'll have to let us know if he ever gets to play in it!

poor baby...hope he gets to play all day tomorrow.

Our DS (2) wanted to go out yesterday and so we bundled him up and he just wouldn't go near the snow. Today, he was content to watch me shovel through the window :D

Well, if it stops tomorrow, he'll have a BUNCH of snow to play in!!!!!!

When our kids were little and it was way too cold for them to go outside, I'd bring a bunch of snow in and put it in the bathtub for them to play with. They loved it, the winds weren't a problem, AND I didn't have to deal with snowpants!

your son is a smart boy!! sunglass WILL help keep the snow out of his eyes. I've snowboarded for quite some time and I usually wear snow goggles but sometimes I'll wear sunglasses and they work well. I know it's too late now but if that happens next time, let him try out the sunglasses. :)

tricia.

My youngest GD ( 2 and 1/2) was visiting for a few days and couldn't wait to go out a play in the snow this morning!!!

I bundled her uip and took her out after about an hour her little face was red but I still had to force her to come in she LOVED it!!

I got out her sand pail and shovel for her she had a ball!!

My DD (2 Y/O) keeps asking me if we can build a snowman. The problem is that we have no snow! I feel bad for her. She doesn't quite get it yet. princess:

I tried to build a snowman but it kept falling apart, the snow wasn't good packing snow. (guess i'm still a big kid at heart):earsgirl:
