Great report!
We were at the BCVs from July 11-14 in a dedicated 2 bedroom, room 378. We had a view of the valet parking lot and a very small balcony off the living room area. We had a few "minor" problems with the room. The DVD player didn't work, the knob on the closet in the second bedroom fell off in our hand, the lock came off the bathroom door, and when our guests turned on the lights over the bed there were NO lightbulbs in the fixtures. We also didn't have any dish soap in the kitchen. We called the front desk and all matters were taken care of. We were told that they did not provide any dishsoap to hand wash anything other than what they provided for the dishwasher. Now, that may not be a problem in the long run, but I did have a few plastic things that I couldn't put in the dishwasher that I would have liked to clean.
We did have a plastic spatula provided, but noted when we were making omelets that it was melting in the pan.
We were required to show a room key to walk in the SAB area on Sunday and wristbands were provided by a CM who was dedicated to passing them out.
We also bought another "lifelong refill mug" at B&C and were told that it was good "forever" <G> We did notice when we were at the All Star Movie food court, the poster did say that the refills there were good only for length of stay. The mugs were different there this year than they were on our last visit there last August.
We had a fantastic stay at WDW and enjoyed everything about the BCVs. The walk to EPCOT is a piece of cake and we did shortcut during some rain through the BC.
We are so thrilled with our
DVC purchase at the BCVs that we are on a mission to aquire more points and were told by our guide that there were only 700 points available for an April use year (as of 7/15). We already have our Easter studio booked and are in the planning stages to combine points with friends for an August 2003 visit down to coincide with the Drum Corp Finals atthe Citrus Bowl.
