I'm going with DS8, DD6 and DS 8months without DH for the first time.
Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Yea, at that age kids will even get excited about playing in a cardboard box, they will have no concept of Disney. So just go and have fun, I'm sure your baby will enjoy the Florida sun! (Remember to use sunscreen!)

Thanks Mom of Sleepy, Bashful and BabyDoc! We call him "cheeks for days" :goodvibes

On the issue of sunscreen... is the concensus now that sunscreen (for babies) is OK for 6 months and older? My pediatrician says its ok, but a few years ago (when my other 2 were babies) there was some speculation on what age is it ok.

My feeling is that I would rather use sunscreen (along with hats and good clothes coverage) than have a burnt baby.... thoughts?

Both my kids first trips were at 9 months old. I used sunscreen for them both and a nice floppy hot. I also bought along our stroller from home and the Baby Bjorn carrier to give the baby a break from the stroller. I loved taking my kids at that age. It's so much easier than now, they are 8 and 3! The look of amazment and joy in their eyes is unbelievable! Definately take advantage of the baby care centers, they are wonderful. They also have a tv with Disney movies playing and coloring pages and tables and chairs for adults and older siblings.
Enjoy!
