We're on the DXDP and our last day I still have credits left. We're spending the day at Universal and we will have 2 credits each for dinner. Oh and we're also booked for the dessert party that night.

I booked HDDR at 6:15pm (was hoping for 5pm, but with the new times, 4pm is just too early).

Then I have the Wishes dessert party booked. Wishes is at 10pm, but we have to be there at 9pm.

Do you think this is enough time??? Will we be too full to enjoy the desserts?? There is also the possibility to add a breakfast on another day so we would only have 1 credit to use a dinner, but availability is scarce. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Don't eat a lot at the buffet. If you go hog wild at the buffet you will not be able to enjoy the desserts. At least at a buffet you can control how much you put on your plate.

I really think you will be way too full to enjoy the Dessert Party!! DD and I had an early dinner (I think it was 5:00pm) and then attended the party. We aren't big eaters, so dinner wasn't a huge affair, but we still weren't able to enjoy the many desserts. With that said, our table was in the very front and Tinkerbell flew right over our heads...having a front row seat for both the fireworks and Tinkerbell were well worth the price of the party!

I would do the breakfast and save the one credit for a C.S. whenever you may need it. I really can't imagine going to hungry on the DxDDP, but you may want an extra snack here or there. You could even split up those last two credits. For example, share a breakfast platter in the morning, or if you have an early dinner, spit a CS meal later at night. I have a hard time eating desserts with every meal, I can't imagine going to a meal followed directly by a dessert party. Maybe even make a breakfast ADR, and do QS before the dessert party? Whatever you do I am sure it will be fine.

We have HDDR booked for 4:00 pm and Dessert party same night at 9:00 pm. We plan on skipping the dessert at HDDR and not stuffing ourselves. Then we'll have a few hours in the park before the party.

We also don't plan on splurging with desserts our main focus is relaxing and enjoying the view of the fireworks. Well maybe a couple chocolate covered strawberries ;)

I think you'll be fine :goodvibes

I've got the dessert party booked & the a late supper at Maya Grill the same night. We had Calif Grill that night...but thankfully were able to move it to another night during Wishes.

Figured we'd eat what we wanted of the desserts & enjoy sitting & watching Wishes. We've never done the dessert party & wanted to last year but couldn't get the tickets.

We might not be starving for supper afterwards but I can't imagine just eating dessert for supper that night & we have an extra credit to use.

I think what you have booked sounds fun.

Thanks for your input. I've cancelled HDDR and booked a breakfast another day and breakfast at Kona on the day in question. We'll probably share a CS at Universal in the afternoon and then we'll have plenty of room for the desserts.

OOPs I know full well that HDDR is not a buffet, it's served family style. But since you have a day at Universal planned (don't think that was mentioned) you are probably better off not cramming both those events into one evening.
