I just booked HDDR for our upcoming trip and I am so excited! This will be our first time going and I have read so many wonderful reviews on this show. I know DH will love the regular food. He's definitely a ribs and chicken kind of guy, but I don't think my kids will eat much besides the corn bread and I'm more of a vegetable girl! LOL!

Is it possible to get something else for the kids to eat? And are there any vegetarian options? Does anyone have pics of any other menu offerings they were able to get? Thanks so much!

There's another thread just posted with the same question about kids meals. I like the Spirit of Aloha show as they automatically serve the children a kids meal with kid-friendly food. My DD is a very picky eater and basically ate nothing at the HDDR. We had no idea you could ask for anything different and nothing was offered, even though I'm sure our server saw DD wasn't eating anything.

HDDR offers a grilled veggie platter and pasta with marinara sauce for vegetarians. (I'm looking for a pic of this that I saw recently.) By the way, you need to call and add a note to your reservations before you go.

We went to the Hoop New Years Day (OK NY Day night). No kids for a kids meal but my daughter is a vegetarian and she got grilled vegetables and pasta. She thought it was OK, not great. If you want the Veg option, I suggest you let them know ahead of time. The salad and corn bread were really good. I have a trip report up and the Hoop section with pics is at

My DD got the pasta and marinara sauce - she thought it was very good - our server also brought her a plate of English chips, which was very thoughtful of her.

Thanks for the replies. Pasta and veggies sounds good to me!
