I know that I read somewhere about the new tiered pricing for the HDDR but I can't seem to find the information and prices again. Anyone know what the pricing is or where I can find it? For those of you that have seen the show, would you highly recommend paying for the better seats? It will be mom, dad, ds 7, ds 4.5 and dd 4.5. Should I spend the money for the better seats so that the kids will be able to see the show? I'm hoping to order our tickets for our trip in March at the beginning of next week.

Thanks for any input!

I would prefer to have preferred seating. We have been several times and once were up front by the stage and our little girl who was 5 at the time got to be in the show on stage as it was her birthday. Other times we were placed up top (Highrollers they are called) and it was harder to see show, as some seats have their back to the show. This was back before any preferred seating, you got better seats by making reservations early as your table was numbered and thats what you got.

Hello : HDDR pricing is as follows : section one : 58.99 for adult 10 and up, children ages 3-9 : 29.99. Section two : adults 54.99, children 26.99. Section three ( upstairs ) : adults 50.99, children 25.99. I plan on going for the first time in April so I don't know personal the best section to sit in.

Anyone know where they sit you if you are on DDP?

DDP puts you in 2 or 3. I have sat in Section One and Section 3. Section one is much better, well worht the money comapred to three.

We have gone at least 8 times (maybee more its too late in the week to count them) and have been seated in the last row downstairs and in the front row but never upstairs. Every seat is good maybe a little different perspective but all are good. If money is an issue I am sure you can find better places to spend it than paying extra for a front row seat. The performers work hard during the show to make it all aroung the hall. If you are trying to get picked to be part of the show make yourselves be noticed. It is a relatively small room so you are never far from the action even at the back and the back row you sit on bar stools so you look over the people in front of you and you dont have to turn around ro see when the cm are out among the tables singing etc. I am sure you will enjoy regardless of seating.

have fun hoop dee doo hoop dee doo........

There is a map to the seating here .

We've been once and it was in the middle of what is now Category 1 seating. I would spend the extra to go with category 1. Category 2 could be okay, but I really wouldn't go with Category 3, just to save a few dollars.

We did HDDR back in May (before the tiered pricing). We were seated in the way back on the floor but my DD was 8, DS 11 and 13 at the time. With kids as young as yours you may want to invest in getting closer to keep their attention. Most of the show happens on stage to about halfway back on the floor with very little beyond that or in the balcony. It was thoroughly enjoyable, well worth it, and something I plan to do again in the future. :rotfl:

If you follow the Disney Dining link on this WDWINFO website you will find info on the tiered seating and pricing.

This link should provide some info.

Thanks, Bama ED

WOW! This is all really good information! I didn't realize that they went to tiered pricing! I guess I will have to save a little more! :bitelip:

This will be our first time at the HDDR. I will be taking my teens and I hope they get picked! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Can anyone reccomend a preference in show times?

Thanks for your help! :thanks:
