I have about three days to decide to keep or cancel the HDDR. I am over on my TS credits so I will be paying for something out of pocket if I keep it. So I am looking for all opp. on if it is worth the extra money or if I will leave the show disappointed. There are 5 of us 2 adults 3 children 11, 8, and 6. Please send me your opp. :confused3

Selfishly, I want to yell "CANCEL!" because I have been trying to get in for my trip coming up this week! But sadly, the reason I want to tell you to cancel is the very reason I must advise you to keep it--IT'S WONDERFUL! Go! You will NOT be disappointed!

KEEP IT!!!
I think your kids are the "prime" ages for it.We've seen it 2x, it is a knee slappin good time. My son and daughter were almost in tears they laughed so hard ...for the entire show.

Have a great time!

Keep it! We just did HDDR for my DD's (11) and DN's (12) Bday, they loved it and so did we!

I have some video of HDDR unlisted on google video, if you pm me I would be happy to email you an invite

Thank you for your input. Now I just have to convience my husband to keep it and POP for some of our ADRs. Oh on a total different note does anyone have any suggestions on packing a disney princess dress?? Thanks again! Chris :rotfl:

HDDR is definitely a keeper, we do it every trip to WDW. We'll be going to HDDR in 3 weeks and we can't wait.

I too, think your children are prime ages for the HDD so I am glad you are keeping the ressie. Have you thought about canceling an "other" reservation if DH protests too much about having to pay for a meal OOP? Really, the amount of food you get is a lot, no one will starve if you have to stretch out/use CS a bit more sparingly to accomodate HDD lol.

Packing a princess dress? If it's a dress similar to the ones I have seen I would lay it out flat on the bed and fold it to fit the size of the largest suitcase, keeping the bodice portion with no folds. It looks like those skirts will shake out with minimal wrinkles. Pack it on top and hang it up as soon as you get there. (One note: if you're taking a garment bag I'd put it in there, but garment bags can be a poor choice as far as having your "clothes worth" out of using up one of your checked bags when flying.)

If the costume doesn't wrinkle at all...I'd roll it, but I don't think most of the princess dresses fit that description.

I also had this question going through my mind , since my CRT and HDDR made me go over my TS credits. But I decided to keep it because it sounds like alot of fun , so I vote keep it.

Keep it we loved it and my kids were 15 and 18 at the time. Food was good too.

My parents took my brothers and I to HDDR when I was about 7. Granted it was about 18 years ago and I only remember bits and pieces of the show, my mom said we really loved it. The fact that it entertained and kept 3 kids attention the whole show is amazing to me now. Keep it and have fun!

KEEP IT! I have been to HDDR several times and love it each time. Last time I had to talk my DH into going and it was his favorite meal of the trip. It was the heartiest meal we had. We loved the fried chicken so much we wrapped it up in napkins and ate it for lunch the next day. Enjoy!

I'm glad to hear the reviews...our son will be 7 when we go and my husband was afraid it might be a waist of our DDP
