I am trying to make plans for our first trip to disney, myself,dh,dd, dd and I would like to know if dd 10 and 3 would like the hdd?

It's breezy and funny and colorful. The food is good, not great (but very filling, and the shortcake for desert is worth the calories!)

And the cast does a terrific job of getting the audience into the act, so that everyone is clapping and waving napkins and having a swell time.

Not only that: it's one of the hottest tickets in The World. If you can, GO! And enjoy!

Worth the money? Nah.

Lots of fun? You bet!!!

EXPENSIVE yes we thought so...Worth it YES... we thought so too.

We found the show and the food to be great. Simple down home cooking and hummor!!

I say it's a "must do"....at least once!!! Everyone from the little tyke to "granny" has fun here! As for the value....welll...EVERYTHING in Disney is expensive!!!! After paying a fortune for a bottle of water, this show is well worth it!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone, I did book the hdd and after the show I also book the carriage ride.It should be a good time

The carriage rides or for 30 min. for $30.00 you can have up to 6 people in a carriage. The phone nubber to call is 407-824-2832. I hope this helps

Im late to answer the original question, but after attending the HDD last Monday, I couldnt resist but to pipe in here. DO IT!!!!! I cant remember the last time I laughed so hard. We loved the food. And since it is all you can eat and all you can drink(beer, soda, sangria) we felt it was definitely worth the money. Practically a bargain!
Also, we had done this about 2 years ago, but I still think I laughed harder this time. Those performers are great!

Adding my .02 for HDD. Go for it! I agree with the others in that it is expensive, but I thought it was good value for the money spent. The performers in the show are absolutely terrific, and I thought those ribs were pretty darn good!

Please tell me more about this carriage ride! Is the carriage ride at Ft. Wilderness? I have never heard of it but am very interested! Thank you in advance for any info!

The carriage ride is at fort wilderness, It last 30 mins. and they take you for a ride into the wooded area. I think there are two different carriages there is one for a 2 people and there is one for up to 6 people I think if you do the one for 2 it may be a little more romantic. The phone number to get more information is (407)824-2832.They pick you up at pioneer Hall .
