yes I just watched this part again to be sure. As the children start to run at her she crosses her arms and she falls backward as the children attack her. She just lies there with her arms still crossed as they start to bite her.

I haven't read past the first book, so I'm just guessing, but I just have this feeling that there is more to how she knowingly surrendered.

Well, we don't really see what happened to Hardhome in the books, so she's not really a character. My guess is she was just shell-shocked by the sight of the dead children (I know I kind of was), and thinking of her own kids, she froze.

Then Jorah offers his hand to her.....and she takes it....Oh Wow!
Then they still can't escape, surrounded....Ruh Roh
Then Drogon turns up and turns many into toast..Oh wow!
Then they start killing him, looks like again not good. Ruh Roh!
Then she climbs on him and flys away......Oh Wow!


And just when you think Stannis is going to be a stand up guy........nope!

Can't believe about poor Shireen!!! The GoT forums are going to be blowin' up over that!!!!! Otherwise, pretty good episode. Loved the Jaime line to Myrcella about her dress being too little of it and wasn't she cold.

A little confused. This hasn't happened, but supposedly will in the new book. Although, it was portrayed differently on the show.

That was quite disturbing. Really tough...IMO.

I enjoyed the episode. My husband predicted that the dragon would come to the rescue, but I thought no, that's too predictable. He was right.

I HATED what Stannis did to Shireen. I have a kill list just like Arya and right now Stannis and Melisandre have moved to the top. I can't wait to see how Davos reacts when he finds out.

So one thing I've been wondering is Jorah has greyscale, right? Isn't it transferred by touch? Wouldn't Daenerys get it when he touched her hand?

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if he is so angry for being cast out by her that he wants to give her greyscale????

There's nothing like that in the storyline of the books and it's really not in keeping with his character. I don't think it's that.

I think you have to touch the Greyscale that is infected.

The books haven't addressed any of this, but I don't think it's accidental Shireen's and Dany's stories played out simultaneously and both involve fire and greyscale. IMO Shireen may be more fit than anyone to sit on a throne. My heart absolutely broke. How on earth did he not get a clue how wrong he was when it was even too much for his awful wife to take?

I fear the fair justice the Onion Knight doles out when he finds out what happened. Perhaps he will join forces with Brienne.

Pretty sure Davos knew this was why he was being sent away.

I took it that he had concerns and that's why he wanted to take mother and daughter to Castle Black. I felt he believed a father's love would prevail. Davos loved his sons deeply. Davos loves Shireen too. Even if Davos respected Stannis taking his fingers, I don't see him accepting this decision as right, just or kingly.

ETA: What are the odds Davos finds the little stag he carved is now made of stone?

Who was running security at fighting arena? The TSA? How were the Sons of Harpy able to get all those masks into the stadium? Maybe she should have adopted the NFL's policy and clear see through bags only.

I can't have been the only one but I absolutely saw the "Drogon-to-the-rescue" thing coming a MILE away. From the very first fly over shot of the arena I turned to Dh and said "Ah. They are obviously setting up a stage to have a dragon battle." It was super cliche...but yeah, it worked LOL. I thought Drogon would swoop in to save Jorah and that would be what made Dany change her mind about him.

And so, what? Did dany fly off with her dragon and leave Tyrion, Missande, Jorah and the others to die???

I think what happened to Shirin made Sansa's rape look like child's play. Blech. I look forward to Stannis' and Melissandre's comeuppance.

I only know what happens in the books, and in the books Tyrion and Jorah weren't even there -- so who knows?????

I think their numbers are down, they seem to be getting picked off quite easily by these SOH's. Who are they really? They were killing everyone not just the unsullied.I was hoping someone would pull the mask off and someone would say who they actually are. They seem to take on the Dany's soldiers quite easily, so its not a bunch old guys.

You know I had a feeling that would happen to but with GOT you always think one thing happens and something else does.
We finally get to see Tyrion and Dany together for 2 episodes and poof she flies off with the dragon.
There is just one episode left then whole nother year of waiting!
