My brief recap and thoughts on the opening episode:
I enjoyed the opening showing the progression of Ned Starks sword. From the time we first saw it to its ending then right into the opening credits. Powerful stuff
I liked how at the end of the episode, that even though The Hound was saying no horse for her, that after the fight, Arya now has a horse.

The Hound also had some good lines...

Now the aunt that the Hound plans on selling Arya to, is that the crazy aunt that was breastfeeding her like 10 year old son?
Then there is poor Jamie Lannister. Finally gets back to the love of his life(even though it is his sister

) and she rejects him for getting captured and taking too long in getting back to her. His Dad Tywin, is disappointed in him for not wanting to do more with his life. Then there is King Needs a Butt Whipping Joffery who makes fun of him for lack of accomplishments and probably never have any now that his sword hand is gone. Then on top of that all, Brienne is still riding him about him keeping his promise to protect Sansa and Ayra to Lady Stark even though she is now dead.
The Red Viper, between what happened at the brothel

and his line "the Lannisters arent the only ones who pay their debts" he could be quite the interesting character.
Lord Tyrion, now is the bottom of the ladder. Not only that, he goes from having quite a bit of "fun time" alot to getting none at all now. He wont sleep with his new wife Sansa and also wont sleep with his gf Shae because its complicated and he doesnt want someone to find out...oops.
When Daenerys sees the first of 163 murdered slave children and states she wants to see each one, you can tell she is going to go all Chuck Norris when she gets to Merreen.
Margaery(Natalie Dormer) looks so good in her dress.
The Thenns scary
