I am going to DL Oct 14th and needed 400 more airmiles to get a second DL pass. So, my mom kindly offered to let me have some of her HBC points so that I can get my DL pass. I did this last week. I called HBC and they told me that even though they've already taken the necessary HBC points off, it will take at least 30-90 days for the points to show on my airmiles statement (online). What??? I am leaving in 2 1/2 weeks and need to order the pass NOW. I asked if there was anything that could be done to speed it up and was told no. do you think this is true? :confused3 I am desperate as I was counting on airmiles. The guy at airmiles said i could purchase the remaining points but it will only save me about $30-$40 to go this route so I'd rather just buy the pass on my own... :sad2:

HELP!!

we cashed in hbc points a couple years ago and it took around 45 days to show up on our airmiles .we had only neaded a few and got them through other sourses

Yep, sounds about right... It takes at least 30 days for airmiles to show up on your online statement to start with...

That stinks. What, they don't have access to computers or something? You'd think they had to send little pieces of paper by dogsled from office to office or something.

But love will find a way... your Disney love, I mean. Good luck!

That HBC-airmiles thing is a BIG rip-off too it takes over 2000 HBC points for one airmile. We did that for a year, got like 12 airmiles and thought 'forget it', figuring we could buy a toaster of something and it would be more worth it.

If you call the 1-800 number on the back.....they get them first. It is longer onlline. You can order by telephone.
