Hawthorne Suites... have you ever stayed there? Thanks for your help

I had been planning at staying at the All Stars in November, but my wonderful brother and his family are going with us! They have three children and cannot stay at All Stars. Consequently, I am looking off site and found a pretty good deal on Hawthorne Suites. Any feedback at all would be so appreciated.

tink, we stayed at the Hawthorn Suites (near SeaWorld) two years ago and were very impressed. Large, clean and well-appointed rooms, nice bright decor and an excellent free breakfast! It is a fairly easy drive to WDW from here (via Palm Parkway) and should make a good base for you.

We also stayed at the one by Sea World. It had a VCR in the living room, kids enjoyed that! I like that the kitchenette has an oven/stove and real dishes, so that even if you ae bringing in take-out you can eat on a real plate. (Apparently one of my hang-ups,, I get tired of paper and styrofoam ). The pool is nicely landscaped, but it is a standard type, no slide or anything. There is a trolley that stops by that can take you up and down international drive for a small fee if you're tired of driving. There is no restaurant on site, just the breakfast thing in the am (unless they've added pm snacks). It was very quiet when we were there, and we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for your input! I really appreciate it a lot as I am lost in the outside world of Disney! I found a rate of $64.50 and thought that was pretty good... what do you think?

I can hardly wait until November!

Sounds like a great rate, my company paid $100.00 during a convention at the Rosen Center.
