Just wanted to start a revein of this place. To being, I am a very picky person.

Check in was great. We were given a smoking room and they changed us with no issues. Even moved our stuff for us. All staff has been helpful with everything from directions to extra supplys.

The hotel rooms are very clean, well the carpet could use a cleaning. The beds are very comfortable. We were given extra blankets and pillows. The towels are a nice size. We had to call for the extra stuff and they arrived within 10 minutes.

Breakfast yesterday was eggs, plain and with veggies, bacon, pancakes, yogurt, breads, bagels, juice, tea, coffee, milk, ceraels. Today was eggs, ham, french toast, breads, bagels, fruit cocktail.

I'm sorry I had done a complete reveiw but can't find it. Let me see if I can find my review on the trip advisor. Happy hour and breakfast were included in our stay.

I am a very picky person. We stayed for 4 nights, Jan 24-28, 2008 in a 2 bedroom suite (they do not offer this anymore). We arrived late on the 1st night and they had us in a smoking room on the 6th floor. Loved the room but didn't care for the smell. They were booked so we stayed put the 1st night and they moved our stuff to another room while we were out the next day. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were very clean but the carpet could have used a cleaning. We had 1 room with a king bed and TV, bathroom, living area with sleep sofa, chair, tv, coffeee table, table with 4 chairs, full size fridge, stove, micro, toaster, coffeee maker , 2nd bedroom with 2 queen size beds, tv, table, chair and bathroom.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Extra supplies arrived within 10 minutes of asking for them.

Breakfast was included each morning. They had yogurts, fresh fruits, cereals, juices, coffee, teas, breads, bagels, plain eggs, eggs with vegies each morning. Then they had either sausage, bacon or ham. Pancakes or french toast.

We only made it to one happy hour and they had adult drinks, sodas, juices, coffee and teas and nachos and cheese.

Pool area looked nice but we did not use it.

I will stay here again if I'm in the area.

soon. A bit nervous cause I haven't seen this resort mentioned often on these boards. If you wouldn't mind answering a few ?'s, I'd greatly appreciate it. Glad to hear it's clean--that's my #1 priority. Do you remember the breakfast time? Did you use shuttle service to Disney? If so, was it available at the times they said it would be? Any stores like WalMart, Costco, etc. nearby for groceries? Any info. greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If this is the Hawthorn Suites close to Pointe Orlando and the Convention Center than I would say it's a good room for the price that we paid about 1.5 months ago.The only thing negative I thought was the decorations of the rooms and hallways seemed kind of outdated,but everything else the breakfast,staff friendliness and so on were very good.

I thank the breakfast stop at 10:00 a.m. Did not use the shuttles. But I love the breakfast there.
