Hawthorn Suites near Universal

Has anyone ever stayed at the Hawthorn Suites near Universal (Canada Ave)? We have a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite booked for the end of August. One bedroom has a king bed, the other has 2 queens. The livingroom has a queensize sofabed. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator. The 2 bedroom suite is $139 for our dates, and includes a hot breakfast buffet every morning and a 2 hour cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception every evening. They also provide complimentary transportation to Universal, WetnWild, Sea World and WDW.

Hi karin,
We stayed 1 nite in a 1BR last month. It's a nice place, kinda tucked away from the main drag (I-drive). Pool is fairly small.
You'll have the ability to cook full meals there if you want: 2 burner stove-top; micro; full fridge w/icemaker; d/w; quite a few dishes too.
Very decent breakfast in AM also.
All in all, nice & clean place.

Thanks Jim. Just wanted to make sure it was as good as it sounds. We need the extra room, because there are 6 of us going. DH and I, DD21, DD16 and her boyfriend and DD14. It sounds perfect for us, because DH and I will have the King bedroom, DD 21, 16 & 14 will share the two queens in the other bedroom. Boyfriend will sleep on the sofabed in the livingroom. The free breakfast will save us over $40 a day. Having the kitchen will save us money too. It will be nice to have 2 bathrooms.
