Hawthorn Suites Convention Center- Has anyone stayed there?

I just wondered if anyone has stayed there and if they liked it. How was the breakfast?

If your talking about the Hawthorne on Westwood Blvd. I wouldn't recommend it. We last stayed there, (actually checked in and checked out same day didn't stay the night due to problems with room) in June of 2008. It was in desperate need of updating/remodeling. Breakfast was adequate. Can't complain for being free. Maybe someone else has stayed there more recently and can give update on condition

If talk one on Canada Avenue. Yes. It was clean a couple years back. It had excellent breakfast and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. I would stay there again.

I am not considering this time because I am trying to figure out which points to use Marriott or Hyatt.

I stayed at the one on Canada Ave a year ago and it was very clean, comfortable and had good service.
