Hawaii Building at the Polynesian

Does anyone know exactly what they are doing to this building? Are they still on schedule to move concierge back in on Oct. 18th? We will be checking in on Nov. 7th and I am getting a little nervous that we will be caught between the "move".

We'll be checking in Dec 10th and for sure, we're in there thhey said. Buut DH talked to them and I got the impression they were done or almost done. So I think they're no time.

I took the time to write a letter to the general manager of the hotel giving kudos to the ladies that I have been working with in concierage. The general manager wrote me back and noted at the end of the letter that he was looking forward to our visit and that they would be back in Hawaii by then. My visit begins on November 8th.

I have also read on this and other boards that anyone that checks in starting on October 18th will be staying in Hawaii. Hope this helps!

The Building will officially reopen on October 17th. Guests currently in Tahiti as of that date will have the OPTION of moving to Hawaii but all guests checking in will check in to Hawaii as of that date.

Keep in mind they are also getting updates day by day so call the Itinerary Planning Office for further updates.

Plus, I would also like the email address for the General Manager of the Polynesian. Everytime I call the office for assistance, all the ladies I've worked with have been wonderful.
